ORIGINAL: softness So two questions ... Now was it a compliment to me that he wouldn't be able to resist me... or an insult to my intelligence? Was I unfair to effectively "test" his treatment of me when he knew there would be no sex or service? Definitely not a compliment. Most assuredly not an insult. I'd like to see just how well it holds up in court when a rapist says to the judge and jury, "I just... couldn't resist!" I'd say that it might be insulting the court's collective intelligence. But, in your case, I think he was focusing on his needs, wants, desires, kinks, ideals and D/s desired dynamics. Most people resort to insults after they've become pissed off, for whatever reason. Sounds like he was trying to offer perfectly rational (to him!) justifications for why he planned on er... indulging. If he knew there was not going to be sex or service it was an open-book test. And if you 're dealing with someone who flunks one of those... you can probably safely assume that they're a few notecards short of a study session.
