Hehe, these responses are all great!
I have to say, Master uses some similar references in regard to me... He is my Master He is well within His right to do so, however were it done by someone in the same context, I would have to tell him about himself.

Well im no angel one night stands are fine if it's what both parties want, but a man who acts like that is unworthy of your attention, if thats what he thinks respect is...thats assuming that most in D/s still value that ..

So two questions ...
Now was it a compliment to me that he wouldn't be able to resist me... or an insult to my intelligence?
Was I unfair to effectively "test" his treatment of me when he knew there would be no sex or service?

Definitely not a compliment. Most assuredly not an insult. I'd like to see just how well it holds up in court when a rapist says to the judge and jury, "I just... couldn't resist!" I'd say that it might be insulting the court's collective intelligence.

But, in your case, I think he was focusing on his needs, wants, desires, kinks, ideals and D/s desired dynamics. Most people resort to insults after they've become pissed off, for whatever reason. Sounds like he was trying to offer perfectly rational (to him!) justifications for why he planned on er... indulging.

If he knew there was not going to be sex or service it was an open-book test. And if you 're dealing with someone who flunks one of those... you can probably safely assume that they're a few notecards short of a study session.

Dear Softness,
I'm going to differ from everybody, and say that I wouldn't take his comments as a huge deal in and of themselves.   If all of the conversation you've had with him has been wonderful and respectful except for this particular one where you have specific ideas and he does too, I would simply think it a misunderstanding, and explain to him that you simply want a comfortable environment, but he needs to respect your boundaries.
I personally don't invite men to anywhere particularly cozy (private and romantic) if I haven't the intention of having sex with them, but that's just me.    M
