I know his name and that he could be any one of a pixie/elf/wizard/human, and that is about the extent of my knowledge on the matter.

To each their own, of course, but I've no intention of even finding out the titles of the books/films let alone reading/watching (any of) them.

I did hear a rumour, though, that, in the last one, Harry Potter is committed to a psychiatric hospital after going on a killing spree in East London. Apologies for spoiling the ending if this is true.

Yes, so have I, and his faithful sidekick, Chewbacca, dies attempting to rescue him.

'Must be true, then. Hang them both, I say, and use a picture of the two of them on the gallows with a noose 'round their necks on the front cover of the last book.....should give the kids a more grounded view on life's realities.

I don't read the books, and I couldn't sit through the entire first movie.  I have never understood the fascination with Harry Potter.  For some reason, every woman I have dated the last few years loves them.  But they also love the "Pirates of the Carribean"  movies, which I also despise and find equally boring.

I was never interested either.  Haven't read any of the books, haven't seen any of the movies.  Probably won't.

Im a fan of the movies, I have yet to read the books, but theres something about the movies that captivate me. Just like the narnia series. I must have read those books thousands of times as a youth, even now as an adult. As well as Lemony Snickets. I've always been a pretty avid reader. Im up for anything that can get kids to better themselves by reading a book as opposed to playing video games.

Never read any of it, never saw any of the movies. There's nothing at all that ever made me even curious about the series.
