PairOfDimes -> RE: Safest Way of Inflicting Intense Pain? (7/22/2007 6:06:57 PM)

Yes, there are absolutely ways to inflict intense pain without even marking the skin. Electricity comes readily to mind. (Provided, you know, that the bottom doesn't have a pacemaker, or other reasons not to use electricity.) A TENS unit can hurt quite a lot, is more predictable than impact play, and, for an average, healthy person, isn't dangerous unless you make a current crossing the chest (which is very easy to identify and avoid). The downside is that they can be pricey--the inexpensive ones are around $100 to start. You can do wonderful things with clamps, especially if you consider areas other than the labia and nipples. These will mark, but not in the same way that spanking will. You can press on the nail bed, or the bit just behind the cuticle, with your own hand, or a chopstick, or a tight clamp, and this hurts a great deal. It may temporarily mark the finger, but that's a very small area to mark. Think about other options that mark a small, discreet area but hurt a lot. Tongues are good, although the trouble with tongues is that people like to use them to talk. :) Rubber bands, and thin canes, snapped over and over again in the same, sensitive spot, can also hurt without marking large swathes of the body. Fatigue is a delicious option. Mental bondage--in other words, requesting that the bottom holds an uncomfortable position--is lovely. Kneeling on rice or grits can work well here to add to the fatigue, and requires very little work from you. You can also tie a person into a difficult pose--think about yoga stretches or other exercises like squats to brainstorm difficult poses. Again, minimal marks (possibly rope marks, and the kneeling on grains will cause indentations in the knees, but again, not the kind of mark you get from spanking). A bonus: this may have some health benefits by adding to muscular endurance! Needles are good, too, but you really should go to a class to learn about play piercing--or, failing that, get some medical and acupuncture knowledge, or jewelry-piercing knowledge, and stick a bunch of needles in overripe zucchini and your own thigh before you stick then in other people.
