Hi,

Quick question when I check to see if one of my emails has been sent to someone it says in my sent emails deleted unread? I obviously know that this means it was deleted and unread. But is this a automatic thing that is triggered by something I said by collarme?

I have found this to be true with profiles where I think the women are using fake pictures of other women. A huge problem on all dating sites, including this one.

At the bottom of the CM mail page is "Too many messages ?" and a button. This is no doubt to setup filters. I have no idea how it works, I do not filter. If someone has something to say to me I want to hear it, even if it is to call me an asshole, which of course you can't do in the open forum. Of course my response might leave them feeling a bit inadequate, but that is not my problem.

I think it realistic to consider that you are being automatically filtered out. I don't know what criteria they have but it may be something in your profile, or if you can't relocate if you are outside of a certain area.

Since there is no subject line in Cmail, it has to be something else. I just don't see why someone would delete mails without reading. Even if they read the first line and go blaech and then delete it, it still is marked read.

BTW, blaech is not the proper spelling. Could someone enlighten me about that ? You know, the puking sound, just how do you spell that ?

I don't think it's an automatic thing, pecs29.  I think it just means that the person you sent the message to chose not to open it.  It happens - no big deal.  I personally can't stand not knowing what it says so I usually open, read, and then delete and never respond.  But that's just me[;)].........luci

And automatic filters based on ASL are a possibility for the OP... nice pic, BTW.[8D]

it means they took a look at your profile and didn't like what they read (esp YOUR USE OF CAPS) ...so delete goes your message unread.

I often delete emails and leave them unread. I don't have the need to read someone's complaining, bytching or whatever. There are quite a few so called dominants on here that stalk and harass.

On the other hand, I have to admit it's not unusual for me to have started the email banter in the first place--especially about a wretched profile with loads of misspelled words, particularly the important ones like submission and dominant or one where they promise to torture people to the edge of death. I can't resist, I am a smartass and I will tell people what I think.

So, yes, sometimes it is personal when your email is deleted unread--they wanted the final say and they didn't want your opinion on the matter. My counselor used to tell me that someone has to hit the ball back and by deleting, they am simply refusing to have anything else to do with the subject matter.

I have been doing a lot of soul searching of late waiting for a sign from God.....And there it is!!! No man could spell "a.s.s." in someones hair like that....

The "a" starts above his right eyebrow and the first and second  "s" "s" goes across his forehead over his nose and left eye ...in cursive....undoubtedly in the handwriting style of Jesus himself.

I do believe!!!....Jesus is all powerful and I accept you from this day forward as my Lord and Savior.
