Has anyone here heard of a D-10? Is there some ranking i don't know about? Can you test up?

Nope the only number certification I have heard of is J3 graduates (short for Journyman III), and that's a legitimate group that simply has a set educational standards they offer, in a year long program. It doesn't mean anything other than they have attended the classes and met the standards of the group. That said I've only found good things to say about the J3 graduates I have met. It seems to be a very good program.

a D20 is a die (singular of dice) as is a D10...geeky gamers, such as myself use them when we play table top Dungeons and Dragons or other RPGs... hope this helps S

silly people, a D-10 is a tenth level Dominant, which you only recieve after using a flogger for 100 hours , averaging 15 to 30 throws a minute and no less than 50 hours in two other impliments, one of which must be an impact impliment and the other must be a sensation impliment... the D-20 is too advanced for your feeble minds, and for the sake of your sanity, you must not try to understand it

A Dom i know has bragged about being a D10. When asked to elaborate i am told it means he is Old Guard and very experienced....

IMHO, if he's still so insecure about himself after "that many years in the lifestyle" to give himself obscure rankings - a D-10 probably wasn't quite as impressive as he thinks. By the way, I've done quite a bit of reading on the old guard (and also just went and Googled "old guard BDSM ranking system") and have not heard of anything like a ranking system other than Master ect. It sounds more like something that someone's social clique or group dreamed up to make themselves feel superior.
