By what metric do you judge the level of "perversion" in an act?
To me, exhibitionism would be more "perverted", for instance.
We all have different metrics for this, I would dare suggest.
And by a mainstream metric, we are all quite "perverted".
So "perverted" as to not merit further grading, in fact.
Hence, one might be careful about throwing stones.
This is a pretty damn big glass house, after all.

I guess for me, it's a sign of submission, but i also have a, well not a fetish per se, but i do love boots. Leather, pvc, patent leather, even rubber wellies, so i would lick them eagerly and enthusiastically if a Dom/me asked me to, for both those reasons. I guess it would only be humiliating in certain situations, in public say, i tend to be somewhat shy so doing that would be embaressing, as much as i might love doing it.

I was introduced to this for the first time very recently... from a sub's point of view, it had a very powerful psychological impact, beyond what I would have expected before I tried it.
