Status: offline 		You know, we Mistress' get asked ALLOT about service, what kind of service can our submissives provide that is different, new a huge help---well maybe I missed this somewhere, but here are some things I have discovered as late that have been a huge help:
 
Car repair, I pay for the parts
Research, I wanted to sell something and was not sure of the right value
Driving, For a time I could not drive and needed asistance on errands and things
Phone calls, I am on the phone for work from morning till late evening so making calls for Me for things and info is a huge help
Handyman work, I do most of My own repairs but sometimes an extra pair of hands help
Game Mate, I never get a chance to play board games because there is often not a second person.
 
 
Food for thought, seems we always think of the obvious things.

I take care of everything I can for my lady, that is what it is all about to me.

Status: offline 		I don't see anything new about any of those tasks.  I haven't met many people in a face to face environment where their view of service didn't include non sexual tasks.

Alandra and I both have our certain skill sets that we are good at.  He makes use of those skills to make his life easier.  We serve at his pleasure in whatever manner he chooses.

Status: offline 		I prefer someone who is always searching to break paradigms.  I agree with you, OP, I want someone to play Cribbage with me, do handytasks and my wonderful Robert was amazing at research.  He single handedly assisted me in surviving a Statistics course....he learned everything then taught me as I don't learn that sort of thing well by reading it.  He read it and, well, made it happen.  *sorry but this will happen for a while....damn I love and miss him*

I love initiative and a slave who feels there is always something more to excel in.

Status: offline 		Oh good grief I could write a book of a list that mostly has nothing to do with the sort of things so many submissives or slaves feel I must want.

Just off the top of my head a good computer person would be wonderful.
Or someone that actually enjoys organizing stuff. All the things I just don't have the patience for and run out of time to futz with.

It is disheartening that so many lose interest when the reality of daily life stuff peeks in.

Status: offline 		LaTigress it is disheartening.  Just today I was chatting with a 21 year old boy who claims he wants to serve but then tells me that I'm not dominant if he's cleaning for me and I don't spend my time pushing his limits, forcing him into things, and not screwing him.  Hum.  *here goes another one...I miss my Robert*

Status: offline 		I too share your sentiments with regard to the telephone.  I live on it for the course of my employment, and even answer my own phone as though I were at work.  Having someone responsible for my cell phone so I don't need to babysit it on my downtime is a delight.

Keeping track of things is a service for me.  Minding when the car needs servicing, when my drycleaning needs to be retrieved, and dealing with scheduling appointments and such when I am sleeping during daytime hours is a valuable asset.

Landscaping and gardening is something I find I enjoy more when there is someone to do the dirty, dirty work!

And it's also the simple things -- having someone else to critique a movie with, or torment during a quiet dinner out.  That company and entertainment that the subject provides IS a service!

I too find this pure enjoyment---yet once I was slammed by a submissive who said--hmph, "all i was was a chauffer and an escort"--- hmm and that is not an honor why?

Status: offline 		This is something I've come to realize about submission, it's not all about getting what you want. It's not always whips, chains and sexy leather suits, sometimes it means cleaning the bathroom, doing laundry or some other kind of mundane task. But a submissive should do these things because their Domme wants them to, that should be good enough. If my Domme wants me to do these things, I do them simply because it will please her and make her life easier.

Status: offline 		Mistresses Hathor and Pandora both seem to have the idea!  I myself want a girl who will be domestic, too.  A domesticated domestic, perhaps?  ;-)  Cook (when I don't choose to do so), clean, organize, lend a hand when I need one when I work on the house (she need not know how to use a hammer, even; just be capable of handing me the hammer!), get the mail, send off the bills.... you know, take care of all the day-to-day business that comes with being alive.  Being willing and capable of work, if only to help cover costs, would be nice, too.  OMG.  You read so many of the girls' profiles on here, and it looks almost like most so-called subs and slaves are only on here for a little kink, and a lot of spoiling.  (I said "most," people.  Not "all."  There are some worthwhile girls out there, I'm sure.)

Well, there was both my daydream, and a tiny rant.  Realistically?  I expect both Myself, and my future girl to "grow" into one another.  Nobody could be completely perfect as a D/s couple from the day of introduction; the relationship has to form, and they both have to grow into it.  I may be willing to "grow" a bit more than some, I don't know.  I do know that the act of training a new girl should also give insights as to what she might need in order to be a happy pet.  I understand my areas of responsibility.

Not entirely easy to define the entire basis of the relationship you seek, is it?  At least it's something we might recognize when it bites us on the ass... lol.

  • Billpaying and bookkeeping (personal and business)
  • Domestic tasks (the list is endless)
  • Answering his work phone if he is unable
  • Scheduling events and presentations
  • Packing for trips
  • Gardening
  • Shopping
  • Correspondence (I handle most of his personal emails)
  • Gift buying (Christmas, birthdays etc)
  • Calender service (I am his human reminder of what is scheduled)

That's very nice.  I like a subject who gets that by putting a smile upon my face, s/he is serving me.  In doing that, they will attain gratification, one by making me happy, and two, in making me happy, I am highly inclined to engage them in enjoyable extra-curricular activities!

Status: offline 		I am Master's personal nurse.  I give insulin shots, dole out meds, test blood sugar, set up haemodialysis machine and help him connect to it, check blood pressure, weight, pulse.  i massage His back (and scratch it for Him - he has very itchy skin). 
 
I pay our bills and keep track of our finances.  I shop and cook and do all the normal household things.  I remind him of appointments and clinics (of which there are many).  I get Him up in the mornings (He hates that but it's necessary while we are doing the training to have the machine at home).
 
Above all I love Him and am there for Him whenever He needs me
