Well I figured this would be fun and interesting all at once. I'm asking if a few Masters and Slaves (Sure...Doms and Subs too) wouldn't mind writing a little description about their week as a practicing "..." Or just what they did with their "..." yesterday. Basically, I want a look at the average life and day to day activities. I don't care how boring or uneventful. Just give me a preview of your world. Either by day, week, or upcoming plans! For us two switches these days- I get up about 8:10 and do my morning toilette. Get dressed, snuggle with my partner who is usually in bed for snuggles or turning on his computer. I drive to work, where I remain until I get home a little after 5:30. He usually works at home or goes to meetings or work sessions, gets the mail, sometimes will drop stuff at the recycling center or do a quick grocery stop. Once home, I usually cook dinner while he does online stuff. We eat together watching tv. After dinner, on alternate days we go to the gym or we just hang out/go grocery shopping. We have monthly meetings we go to during the week as well, and occasionally he'll go to a concert on his own. Pfft... I don't have a problem with it...wank off to this if it gets you going... I wake up, brush my teeth, shower, make coffee, put a piece of bread in the toaster and cut up some cantelope. When the coffee's done, I pour myself a cup, and have the toast, fruit and coffee for breakfast. My Master and I talk to each other as he makes his way to work. Then as my other family members wake up, I say good morning and they do the same - except that they have cereal for breakfast. After they're dressed, they bring their dirty clothes to the laundryroom and I start the laundry. Depending on the day, I take my son to physical therapy. Then it's errands or I go to my folks' for an hour or so. Home to have lunch, clean the house, yard work, work on stuff for this upcoming year - oh yea, somewhere in there I take some food out of the freezer to defrost for dinner. At 4:30 or thereabouts, I call my Master - or he calls me - and we talk to each other on his way home. Around 5:30, I head back to my folks' for "cocktail hour" - that time of day when everyone finishes their jobs, we give the dog a buiscuit and everyone gets their favorite drink and we sit there till about 6:30 or so, laughing and talking about the day or what we're doing that evening/next day. We're home by 7:30 and make dinner. Eat by 8 (sometimes we'll eat before cocktail hour if we get the chance)... watch a movie, make lunch for one of my family members the next day when she goes to school and head to bed for the night Variations on a theme: Sometimes instead of going to bed, I do the stuff I'd do the next day during the day. Then the next day, instead of doing work, we'll go out swimming or fishing or to friends' for the afternoon. Fridays, the other family members go to their father's or my oldest comes here to visit.When they're gone, we do adult things, visit with adult friends, live adult lives. More variations on the theme. Depending on the time of year, swimming may be replaced by ice skating. during the fall, winter and spring, put "go to work" into the mix. Exciting times for slaves huh? Didn't we do something like this not too long ago? I think so. Instead of rewriting what I did then, I'll just say not much has changed since that thread. Maybe after I defend in October things might change a bit but I doubt it as long as we live in our current house in the current city.

Ys as a slave we do lead vanilla lives as well. We have responsiblities and other things in life to take care of as well. Ys as a slave you have a Master that you serve and are owned by but not all of us stay in whips and chains all the time.

So then, in your everyday life of the (obvious) mundane...how does your master play his role? Does he give you orders (over asking) of things he wants you to accomplish that day...or does he keep most of his bite saved for sessions. In which case, outside of sessions...is your master just another person?

hmmm....im wondering if the OP was really hoping for some wank off material...so, here goes...my day yesterday...there were watersports, scat, blood play, knife play, some light bondage, and even a spanking! 4am...small infant starts screaming uncontrollably. Get out of bed and trip on toy. Cuss. Wake up two more members of the household. Sir goes to fix bottle while I change diaper. Dont get new diaper on fast enough and get peed on. Sir feeds baby while I go wash up. Step on cat, go put peroxide on now bleeding leg. Put baby back to bed and tell 7yr old he may NOT stay up and watch cartoons, send him to bed also. 6am, alarm goes off. Sir gets dressed and tries to make it out the door without waking anyone else. Almost makes it. Screaming starts. After sending Sir off with his lunch, I get kids out of bed and get them dressed. Tie them down into highchairs. Pour milk into cups. Accidentaly hand older kid the sippy cup and give baby the regular cup. Baby pours ice cold milk down his front. More screaming. Clean up baby, put on new clothes, mop floor. Toddler screaming because he never got his breakfast. Put baby back in highchair, hand out cheerios because now everyones screaming too much to wait for eggs and toast. Turn on electronic babysitter. Go get myself dressed and brush teeth. Grab handful of cheerios on way out door to feed cattle. Come back in to find 7yr old sitting on floor watching spongebob and ignoring screaming siblings. Pop 7yr old on behind and send him to wash dishes. Get babies out of highchairs and change massively stinky diapers. Get online to check Sir's website and see if anything sold. Update anything that needs it and answer emails. Pop onto collarme for my only adult interaction of the day. Hear plate shattering and 7yr old scream. Go clean up broken glass. Hear toddler scream at infant for stealing toy and go to stop him from biting. Spend an hour on floor of livign room setting up Thomas the tank engine train set only to watch it get demolished in 5 minutes. Rescue cat from grip of infant. Leave 7yr old in charge while I go change laundry in barn. Come back to every toy in the house spread out over floor of living room. Put babies in high chair and help 7yr old clean it up. Fix sandwiches for kids and cut up some fruit. Drop knife blade first into foot. Cuss...listen to toddler repeat all cuss words perfectly. Put everyone under 4 down for a nap. Wait 20 minutes until screaming subsides. Go fix broken board in front porch, manage to hammer in nails without waking anyone. Walk over to barn to switch over the laundry. Find barn flooded. Go get tools and fix busted washer hose. Walk back to house to find toddler woke up from nap, got bored, and drug infant out of crib. Somehow a diaper got removed. Put kids in living room with a few crackers while I shampoo carpet in kids room. Return to living room to find it covered in cracker crumbs. Tie kids back into highchairs to vacuum. Kids scream from loud noise, cheer when they see Sir pulling into driveway. Greet Sir on front porch, get asked why laundry, dishes, and dinner are not done, and kids are stuck in highchairs screaming. Glare at Sir and hand him screaming infant. Go start dinner. Sir takes bath and leaves infant in living room without telling me. Infant pulls all CDs off of shelves. Clean up living room for 4th time today. Serve dinner to Sir and kids. Start bathing kids and getting them ready for bed. Once all kids are in bed and Sir is watching Sci-Fi channel, heat up whats left of dinner and try to eat in peace. Clean up living room and kitchen after dinner and go take bath. Lay down with Sir for a few minutes until 7yr old comes in wanting water. Realize I forgot to feed dog. Walk outside in slippers and nightgown, come back in covered in mud. Clean up once more and head back to bed, realize Sir is already sound asleep and snoring. Turn off TV and fall asleep myself.

and where exactly, do you all find time to take hot porn pictures of yourselves???...lmao edited to add.....that no matter if Sir is reddening my ass with a paddle or helping me spoon gerber babyfood into an infant, he is still the same person and our roles towards each other never change. Do I act differently? Of course, im not going to stop changing a diaper and start sucking him off in the middle of the living room with barney singing to the kids...but he is still my Sir and I defer to him always, he doesnt have to be there with me all day barking orders for me to know who he is.

Everday is different for us, except for some routines: take Him coffee in bed; dress; usually go out to breakfast and discuss His business and other things that we are involved with at the time; take care of the house and yard; help Hubby with His business if He asks me to do anything; do the paperwork; serve lunch; play a few games online; more house/yard work; watch Judge Judy; workout; shower; make dinner; watch tv and play games online; go in the hot tub; play with Hubby if He wants; set the coffee, clean cat boxes, go to bed. 2-3 times a week we fit in some golf or golf practice; maybe take a drive once a week.

There is no typical day in the life...and what do you mean "how does your master play his role"? I don't play a role. I live my life. I do what needs to be done on my part and my slave does what's needed on his part...as does my husband and the rest of the household. We don't play life. We live life.

I am not a practicing anything, Ive gotten it right a long time ago Angel and my typical day. He goes to class, I am at work. He goes to work before I get off, and he is home late. On a good day, we can talk to one anotehr online or on the phone for an hour or so. More often, I go days without speaking to him. But, thats our typical day. On the rare occasion he is actualy here, we play video games, make a mess in my kitchen making dinner together, make more of a mess cleaning it back up, and occasionlly we play. With Kitten, our once a week get togethers center around music and baseball. We find a Braves game, mute the TV and put on his music. Then, while we are watching, we may plan, or we may just snuggle. Tomorrow, though, we are breaking our usual pattern and we are going on a road trip to MS to see the White Stripes in concert woo DV

i object! where did ya'll find the converter that makes regular days into 36 hours long?!...i thought i was doing good when i made a new style of wrap skirt, washed the dishes, did a load of laundry, learned how to make a monkey fist knot and baked cookies...but perhaps my priorities are different....like i don't HAVE to clean the living room 4 or 5 times a day hehe.... take care....i admire ya'll alot... chelle

Here is a description of one of our typical evenings that I have posted twice before in reply to a similiar post ~~~~~~~ A Normal Evening Master Archer calls me as he leaves work. That gives me time to clean myself up and attire myself befitting the evening: usually a leather body harness, high heels and stockings and makeup freshly applied. I crush some ice for his Coke and slice a lime for ganish. A plate of cheeses and crackers or other tasty nibble awaits on the coffee table. He arrives home and I greet him kneeling just inside the door. He pauses to allow me to remove his boots then I rise to take his briefcase or lunchbag or other items he may be carrying. After allowing him time for a nature call I help him remove his work clothing and dress him in something more comfortable: usually his black silk boxers and a cotton t-shirt. (Wintertime includes his fleece robe and leather slippers) Master then takes over the sofa and I offer him his beverage and snack...kneeling as I present it to him. Often he hand feeds me some of the snack. He then rests and watches the news while I finish preparing whatever I have started earlier for dinner. His favorite lately is tuscan italian or thai. I serve him dinner in a white apron only..and the heels. The table is set for one with linen table cloth, linen napkins and good china every night unless he prefers to eat outside. I serve him his food and beverage and then kneel at his side in anticipation that he may need something. When he is finished his dinner he goes to check his emails, chat or do other computer related activities. I take this time to eat, clean the kitchen and change into evening attire: nothing but heels and a leash on my collar. I then join him, kneel at his side and await whatever sadistic play he has in mind for the evening. Yea...right....sure. Master and I both work from home. He finishes about 5:00 and comes downstairs in his work attire: jeans or shorts and a t-shirt. I bring him his cigarettes and refill his soda glass and he goes to watch the news. Im wearing shorts and a tank top or a 'work' dress (lightweight and paint splattered). I usually go back to the basement/workshop and do some more work and he catches a nap or we might actualy do a bit of yardwork together. If the kids are here we are shuttling them around or at a soccer or Lacrosse practice. Dinner on the weeks we don't have the kids is usually about 9:00..he eats in front of the tv (I do serve him) and I read at the table while I eat. (I dont enjoy eating in front of the tv). He puts his own dishes in the dishwasher and I clean up the rest of the kitchen. If the kids are here we all sit at the dinner table about 7:30 for dinner and family discussion. On nights the kids are not here I do ask him for permission to go to bed but it is usually phrased similiar to 'Master...Im gonna call it a night..ok?' Some nights, especially if the kidlets are here, we might rent a movie or go shopping or play board games. Computer time is a fought after premium...at least till we can afford for everyone to have their own pc. We also do all those usual vanilla activities like going to the bathroom, taking the dog for a walk, talking to neighbors, etc. etc. Reality M/s relationships are usually not fodder for best sellers.

wow, and I thought my day was rough......but at least "my children" go home at 5 pm and then I can be an adult all night...which may or may not include playing with my sub.....but it will definately involve sentences of more than 3 words and those sentences won't start with "stop that".....if my boy knows what is good for him. sending Ghita the all the extra energy I can muster

First let me say that the best way to find out about that kind of stuff from me is my blog over at LJ That being said i'll give a quick little thing here. Monday-Friday i am a stay at home slave so i wake and feed the kitties, snuggle with my Daddy, get used by him if he desires and then he leaves for the day. If i'm lucky i can wash his back while he showers, but this doesn't happen often. i do laundry, vacuum (like i've got OCD or something), do the dishes, clean the bathrooms, floors and all of that stuff. i go to the gym, lay out in the sun and basically keep the house and myself in decent shape for my Daddy. The evenings are spent either with me making dinner (not often) or ordering food from somewhere and bringing it home.i serve it all up and sit on the floor at Daddy's feet while we eat (and most all of the time otherwise). i clean up the after dinner dishes and then i bring Daddy a cup or coffee and cigar while he watches t.v. downstairs. i hang out at my Daddy's feet while he watches sports and wait as patiently as i can for when we watch movies or t.v together upstairs in bed snuggling. The weekends can vary, from going out somewhere with Daddy to a friend's house or something, to skating on Venice beach, to staying at home while he goes and golfs or getting lucky enough to go with him and ride along. Sometimes we go to the driving range where i am learning to play golf so that i can play (hopefully) with Daddy. Atleast once a month we go to a dungeon or swinger's club of some sort. Some weeks i get beaten more at home, caned or single tailed..some weeks not so much. Monday nights we usually go skating, and that is where the real heavy dominance comes into play (seriously...read my skating blogs and you will understand) Thats mostly it in a nutshell. ~cherry

Typically, the day starts around 330-4a for us, as Mitdasein, emelina and i are all either early risers (me) or insomniacs (they). i make coffee for Mitdasein and myself (sometimes tea for emmie) and the two of us chat for sometimes an hour smoking cigs on the back porch. Chat may have to do with the shitty weather, Mitdasein's work, a book i'm currently trying to make my way through, or some serious dirty talk. After we come in from back porch/bonding time, W/we can likely be found at our laptops, reading boards or blogging. Morning sessions are not unheard of as Mitdasein has no "get to work by" time, and we're all awake anyway. Sessions might be major fuckery, play, punishment or chastisement, it's not a set thing. Emelina and i have our days mapped out on a shared calendar with Mitdasein so He knows what we're doing when, whether it's going to the banks, doing laundry (my chore), seeing m.ds (we all have them, an a lot of them), or hitting the market (which we do everyday before i cook dinner.) i make dinner for the family (there's 6 of us-- 4 adults, 1 18yo and a 9yo)- Dinner involves 4 variations on a theme, because 5 people eat 4 different kinds of meal (for instance, i have no carbs after 10am, emmie loves starches with her dinner, but doesn't eat meat, etc.) Dinner might be a simple affair to get onto plates or it might be a huge deal, depending on how Mitdasein feels about eating, honestly. If He's not up for much, it's more low-key. So i handle that. On a weekly basis (sometimes it seems like daily) emmie takes care of the family's budgeting and reconciliation. Up until recently this involved coordinating up to 4 paycheques with what bills needed attention, and trying to stretch said paycheques over bills, entertainment, education, fuel and grocery. She's amazing. i get lost dealing with money so i just take my allowance for the market or for fun spending or whichever and spend that. Daily, i usually go to sleep around 9 or so, but we're trying to get me to stay up later. As stated before, Mitdasein and emmie are night owls, even if the day has worn them out. Which it might, looking back on this. But wait! There's more to add! If emmie and i are home all day, or a lot of the day, we are on IM with Mitdasein while He's at work, and most of what we do is run by Him before it's undertaken. Things like dr.s appts and laundry don't really require His stamp of approval, He believes in us as people, too, and able to do things like drive to an appt or buy a cup of coffee without express permission. Generally weekends are for lolling around reading up on various study materials, talking, or having what we call "the fuckery". W/we are in a poly quad, which is made up of Mitdasein, emmie, emmie's husband ("E") and myself. Neither emmie nor myself have to get approval for what we post to our blogs, but we do get permission for what we post to the boards. emelina and i both sleep in bonds, we both wear wrist cuffs that are padlocked together when Mitdasein goes to sleep. i sleep on a mat on the floor at the foot of the bed (not to be explicated here) during the week, and emmie sleeps between E and Mitdasein on the EnormoBed (it's 9 feet across). whew. -mitda http:://quietknowledge.wordpress.com
