That was very funny. And yes, I can--I remember getting a cane out of the case in order to retrieve something that had fallen between a cabinet and the wall, and thinking that this really, really isn't the best use. Also, I've used my lovely long metal ruler, bought for hitting, to measure furniture of late. Not kinky furniture, either.

I love the Onion and pick up a copy of it every Thursday.

And no joke -- I got rid of my Love Seat when I found I was using it more for folding laundry vs. having sex! Too sad.

Its like when my 7 year old came out of my bedroom with a few sections of my rope. He wanted to tie up his sisters and play "Cowboys and Indians". He is actually quite good with his knots.
