Here I am Cuffs... over hear... just follow my voice. I have talked it over with my teachers, and they have decided that it is best that you stay... for now. No harm will come to you as long as you strictly follow their rules... and allow me to do what it is they want me to do. Zathras has been allowed to stay and there is no reason you cannot do the same.

Do not worry... everything will become clear... in the fullness of time...

For now Cuffs, you can keep your domly skills active by practicing them on Zathras, if you would like. Just follow the sound of metal grating against stone and you will find him. He is the zobold that Bear sent to build me things, so there are a lot of tools and implements where he is to help in your domliness.

I, on the other hand, will be kept busy by my teachers.

"Dammit... I need to take a break" I complain in frustration. "I just sent Cuffs out looking for zobolds, which could tear her into pieces, when she should be looking for the kobold. I just called out to her with a name not her own. She's a doomed woman!" I fall into a heap on the cold stone floor. "You are pushing too hard, too fast."

"Nonsense. You have been chosen. This is your destiny." replies the multiphasic voice from within the walls. "The woman, if she is to prove herself worthy to stay, will need to think on her own. You may have a small break, but are to not call out to the woman."

"Zathras! Find Cuffs..." I shout out as I feel the thud of a large stone hitting the side of my head...

*jumps at the voice coming from the walls and listens as it instructs sappatoti, she also hears sappatoti words. She takes a deep breath and thinks through what to do next, hoping Zatharas finds her, but will do anything she can to survive if he does not. She also thinks about doing hurty things to Spiral for tossing her down into these depths. Oh dear, whats a girl to do? She will figure it out though, shes smart*

... I am shaken awake by Zathras... "Where am... what...?" As the darkness comes into focus, I sense the buildup of infrared energy. "Zathras, go find Cuffs and take her out of here. Tell her to go... never look back. Go Zathras. Now!" Zathras starts waddling off... "Zathras, let her know that I found what I was looking for. Go!" Zathras just exits the chamber as the walls start falling in.

"I know what you have done!" I shout to hear myself above the crumbling walls. "I watched as you destroyed the Ancient Texts as I have read them." ... the tumbling rocks and boulders roll closer... "I know of the ancient history amongst the Angels, Dragons, and Gargoyles. I will honor that history..." as the rocks come grinding closer.

"We know you will..." answers the multiphasic voice as the chamber collapses, sending tremors to the land, and hotel, above. "... this is your destiny"

*feels Zatharas lift her and carry her away as the walls start to  crumble, she screams in fear, calling for sappatoti, begging to go and save him...Yet Zatharas continues on, carrying her to safety. She weeps for her friend, praying he makes it out alive himself*
