Kerry had to appeal to all the fucking idiots who still can't see how stupid this fucking war was. As for the equipment, we are leaving it for the same reason we invaded. Guess who gets to pay for it and guess who makes the money... Bush has used this nation as a giant ATM machine for him and his corporate friends.

We doubt we will be leaving the M1A2's and the Stryker combat APC's. They are pretty new and cost a fortune. It will take fifteen to eighteen months to reasonably get out of Iraq, which is why we should start today. What could happen quickly, is a withdrawl to the south. This could be done very quickly, and we would get a look at what post-occupation Iraq would look like.

If there were any warlords in the american army of any mein, we could just as easily withdraw to kurdish territory, leave thru turkey, as we watch events unfold. Protect the kurds, and pour right back in if need be. Although it would take the mother of all wars and shock and awe to need be. Ron
