Sure, looks matter. A slave writing to me wearing a dirty, pizza encrusted T-shirt, ketchup and snot stains on their chin, and roaches in her hair isn't likely to interest me. Looks aren't simply a question of physical appearence; they reflect the lifestyle and personality we choose to embrace. A slave who takes an interest in their appearence is more likely to do so with her life. One who does does not.... So for me, it's not strictly aesthetics. I can (and enjoy!) take a 'plain' looking girl and turning her into a full blown hottie. When I met gretchen, she was about as plain as they come. A year later, she knocked my socks off. It wasn't even the clothes she wore, her makeup, etc, it was her attitude, and an entire (if subtle) shift in her personality. In the past year, as some folks here have seen, she's done a bit of modeling even. I suppose it's the difference between looking at a house, and seeing it's potential, or moving on to the next. I don't feel obligated to take a person who doesn't meet my standards; there will be other men who see treasure, where I do not. A slave that I don't feel I would treasure, would be ill served in my care. The aesthetics are simply one cog in the machine that is slave. Stephan
