I was going to write up a nice lil' reply to the OP but this pretty much said it all for me.
Yes, I care about 'the cover' even though ultimately 'the book' is more important. I want what we (likely) all want - the total package. Are looks everything? Hell no. Is physical attraction to my partner a huge key to how drawn I am to them, especially LTR? You better believe it.
In my personal experience, women like and want to be seen as desired or desirable. On some level though that applies to all of us.
