Status: offline 		has anyone any idea what i could wear to remind me that i am now owned by my Master?  it will have to be very vanilla looking, but must remind me who i am

Status: offline 		What you wear isn't as important as the meaning it has for you. The most valuable thing I wear every day isn't my wedding or engagement ring, but another ring that I wear on a chain around my neck. It doesn't fit my finger, and it doesn't have great monetary value, but the sentimental value is high for both me and my partner.
Have you considered asking him to get you a piece of jewelry, maybe a simple chain, that you could wear on your ankle or wrist or neck and that would symbolize ownership for you? Nobody would have to know except the two of you, what the meaning is behind it.

Status: offline 		Master bought me a simple chain to wear because i enjoyed wearing my collar so much i carried it in my purse to work. i now wear a solid silver collar you can buy at any department store. i just love the snug feeling it gives me.
true you dont need a physical collar, but it brings a smile to my face . i feel naked without it.

Status: offline 		Daddy chose the symbols of His ownership of me. on my left wrist, i wear His silver bracelet, around my neck His metal collar (which no one pays no attention to), and around my ankles His slave chains.  to any nilla person, i probably look weird wearing all this jewelry.

Status: offline 		Choose a collar that doesn't look like a collar. Look among the 'chokers' in any jewelry store. Choose one who's symbols speak to you -- pearls? Someone on here has a thread about making a wooden collar. Such a thing would not scream 'collar' to the vanilla world. As others have pointed out, other jewelry works just as well -- bracelet, ring, anklet. Body piercings. Tattoo, if you are quite sure of the permanence. A toe ring? They have to be put on professionally, and they stay on till taken off professionally (yes, I know you can also get the fake kind that you take on and put off yourself). My former owner's slave prior to me had dogtags, which worked because they hung down inside of her clothes.

Status: offline 		I like to occasionally review what Subs have to say here and what they are concerned about.
As for this question the idea of jewelery or navel rings all sound good. My girl used to wear a
stainless steel belly chain that was hammered onto her permanently other than tools to remove
it but in today's world where you are going through metal detectors all the time it became impractical.

We did find a hammered copper bracelet that she now wears full time. Simple and it does leave
a green ring on her wrist that can be washed off but is there when she Must remove it for the
occasional metal detector.

Status: offline 		I am owned, but not collared.  My constant reminder is that I have his last name initial in my pubic hair.  I shave everything else around it and in between  daily.  It marks me as His and because it requires care and upkeep, I have that constant reminder.

Status: offline 		Anything can work as long as it has significance to you and your Dominant. A necklace with a pretty heart would work or, perhaps, a key. Any "romantic" symbol can be used depending on the meaning you put to it. It's all in your head and heart anyway.

A good friend gave me his first set of jump wings, which I wore on a necklace for a LONG time, to help me find the courage to make some of the "jumps" I needed to make my life better. The wings didn't mean much to most people, except some military types who saw them, but they meant the world to me. They are still on my desk where I can see them often to help remind me to stay the course of jumping. It's the meaning that was put to the wings that was important, not the wings themselves.

What symbol is important in your relationship? That's what would probably mean the most to you and yours.

Just my thoughts......

Status: offline 		My first reminder that he owned me was a toe ring. I now wear the toe ring along with an collar that is a simple band of gold around my neck. I do have a beautiful piece that was custom made to go on the collar, but I only wear it on occasions that are appropriate.

Status: offline 		My Master recently bought me a beautiful new collar. I wear it at all times, and have yet to have a 'nilla person ask me about it. I'll include the link to the site for you so you can check it out yourself if you'd like to. It's a plain silver chain, the type that they tend to use for dog collars - I think it may be called a curb chain. On the front is a medium sized heart-shaped padlock. The padlock unlocks with any type of handcuff key, just in case something happens, any cop could unlock it.
