Or call me....I've got some time to kill....Staring into your windows and showing up at your work place sounds like a dream come true.

I had you down for the 'sitting in a tree, knocking one out type', DomiGuy.......obviously, I underestimated you; beneath the shell lurks a sophisticated stalker....

To Keira, the police is a good bet, and some self-defence equipment.

Owner59 -> RE: Dealing with a Stalker (8/10/2007 11:44:37 AM)

I`ve had two,a woman years ago,and recently,a guy who felt that I stole his girl.Of course I did nothing of a sort, but this guy just wouldn`y leave me alone.Calling me names and trying to insult me,in the months after my girl and I started living together. After a while the emails wained and then stopped. He never realized that he had no chance w/ her ,and seemed to think that I took away his chances to capture her.

When we broke up,the loser started emailing again with childish "na-na" emails. He still hasn`t gotten anywhere w/ my former gf, and probably won`t,if it hasn`t happened already.

My former gf are still friends, and I hear the guy still mentions me and calls me names.

You must not respond ,reply,or answer back,in any way.Any feedback is just going to spir him on.

Is there a way you can hint to the account holder`s name,w/ out directly saying it.This way we can email him and tell him what a creep he is?Just a thought.

He can always change accounts if you block him, etc. You may just have to ignore him(which will sting),and not let him under your skin.

I understand your sentiments....But as my GrandDomi always said, "If you can't take pride in your craft...Then you will never rise above that of the Joe-average stalker."  Anyone can sit in a tree and rip one off....The true carftsman builds a tree house filled with the latest high tech surveillance and eavesdropping equipment....I am an artist.

Before the usual flip-floppers hijack this thread too, I'll second the advice to document everything.

If you don't have a camera, get one, if you don't have a cell phone, get one, if you are on good terms with neighbors, co-workers, nearby retailers, etc. get them to write down everything they see, even if it is just the person's car.

And do not respond, as also mentioned, in any way that a warped mind could interpret as 'paying attention' to them.

This is not to stop anyone, or anything, this is so that when you go for the restraining order, or more, it won't be so easy for the authorities to look at this as just another case of 'he said/she said'.

The best defense is a good offense.
I love stalkers!
Lots of fun and a good bit of sport.
The thing about stalkers is that they don't realise that once they become "known" to the Police they have virtually no protection from the police and thus make themselves "easy targets."
At that point you can basically do anything to them and get away with it.
If you have a restraining order out against them you can shoot them with impunity.
No-one ever said stalkers were smart.

"Throwing Stones"
Words by John Perry Barlow; music by Bob Weir
Barlow has posted the lyrics to his songs.

Picture a bright blue ball, just spinning, spinnin free,
Dizzy with eternity.
Paint it with a skin of sky,
Brush in some clouds and sea,
Call it home for you and me.

A peaceful place or so it looks from space,
A closer look reveals the human race.
Full of hope, full of grace
Is the human face,
But afraid we may lay our home to waste.

There's a fear down here we can't forget.
Hasn't got a name just yet.
Always awake, always around,
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down. ( fb: btw, that's a PACKED MSG doing the call/return )

Now watch as the ball revolves
And the nighttime falls.
Again the hunt begins,
Again the bloodwind calls.
By and by, the morning sun will rise,
But the darkness never goes
From some men's eyes.

It strolls the sidewalks and it rolls the streets,
Staking turf, dividing up meat.
Nightmare spook, piece of heat,
It's you and me.
You and me.

Click flash blade in ghetto night,
Rudies looking for a fight.
Rat cat alley, roll them bones.
Need that cash to feed that jones.
And the politicians throwin' stones,
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.

[Bridge:]
Commissars and pin-stripe bosses
Roll the dice.
Any way they fall,
Guess who gets to pay the price.
Money green or proletarian gray,
Selling guns 'stead of food today.

So the kids they dance
And shake their bones,
And the politicians throwin' stones,
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.

Heartless powers try to tell us
What to think.
If the spirit's sleeping,
Then the flesh is ink
History's page will thus be carved in stone.
The future's here, we are it, and we are on our own
On our own.
On our own.
On our own.

[Instrumental]

If the game is lost,
Then we're all the same.
No one left to place or take the blame.
We can leave this place and empty stone
Or that shinin' ball we used to call our home.

So the kids they dance
And shake their bones,
And the politicians throwin' stones,
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.

[Bridge two:] Shipping powders back and forth
Singing black goes south and white comes north.
In a whole world full of petty wars
Singing I got mine and you got yours.
And the current fashion sets the pace,
Lose your step, fall out of grace.
And the radical, he rant and rage,
Singing someone's got to turn the page.
And the rich man in his summer home,
Singing just leave well enough alone.
But his pants are down, his cover's blown...

And the politicians throwin' stones,
So the kids they dance
And shake their bones,
And it's all too clear we're on our own.
Singing ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.

Picture a bright blue ball,
Just spinnin', spinnin, free.
Dizzy with the possibilities.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.
Ashes, ashes, all fall down.

Maybe so, but you'll never put the fear of god into her by wearing a beret and carrying an easel around under your arm......tell her you're the devil and she's nothing more than a slab of meat......works over here, marriages are constructed on that sort of thing.
