Now on to the foolishness...
First off. Over half the population in the US is overweight. So seeing a lot of "chubby subbies" as you call them isn't so odd. If you honestly looked around and did a study, i think that the percentage of overweight PEOPLE in this lifestyle is near the average for any other group of people.
Secondly... For many, public play is a way of life. i do not know too many Dominants who enjoy a broken toy. If a submissives self esteem was that low how would they survive being nude in public? They wouldn't, it would break them. Broken submissives don't serve very well. Not to mention the fact that the amount of reassuring they would need on a constant basis is a lot of maintenance for a Dominant to keep up. Can you imagine having to reassure your submissive every waking moment of every day? i think not.....
Thirdly... There is a growing trend where men are more interested in bigger women. It stems back centuries where a woman's size was equated to wealth, health, and the ability to reproduce and take care of a household. Ever heard the saying never trust a skinny cook? lol
Now on to the being sexually desperate part...
Ok, that made me laugh out loud. i have never been sexually desperate a day in my life, though i must admit that when i divorced my first husband and emerged as the new "chubby" me, the sex got better! hahaha
Sex has never been hard to find... Finding someone willing to beat me has never been an issue. Hell, i love pain and have always been able to take a lot of pain. Of course i take more now that Dominants have some extra layers to get through *giggles* my saying is, "i'm built for comfort, not for speed" and i honestly mean that. my Daddy/Husband loves the fact that we can play for 4, 6, 8+ hours and i'm still begging for more and i can still take more. He says that if he wanted a carpenter's dream, He would go to Home Depot and buy a nice, straight, 2x4 and fuck that. lol Even my lil darch one gets irritated with me when i complain about my weight. he isn't overly thrilled with skinny lil women either. Self esteem issues? Yes, i may have a few, but those are mine and have nothing to do with my reasons for being involved in this lifestyle. Hell, most of us have an issue here or there if we are honestly willing to admit it. i can tell you what issues i don't have that many thinner people do.. i don't have the "i'm hot and you will treat me better than anyone else on the planet" issue. i don't have the "i'm hot and have a right to whatever i want, whenever i want it" issue. i don't have the "i'm hot and unless you are willing to spend you life savings on me i don't want to be seen with you" issue... Pretty irritating issues don't you think? If you think about it, you know who usually has those kinds of issues, and it isn't us "chubby" submissives.
Since when does one's outter appearance cause us to question if this is why they have chosen the lifestyle they live? Have people become so superficial that this type of behavior is the norm? Pretty sad state of affairs if you ask me. When did we stop thinking about and wanting to know about the REAL person and just make assumptions based on how they look? If you spend time talking to us, you'll find out why we are here, and why we enjoy the things we do. Then you can pack all those generalizations away in a nice little box, never to be heard again. Most of us don't like to be generalized anyway, but when done in a context like this? Well let's just say i hope you own kevlar, because the flaming will be intense.
