Good grief, I thought it was another fat sub/slave/domme thread again!!!!!

To answer, I am damn near like a hairless chihuahua from the neck down anyway but......I do keep the pits smooth unless I forget for a week or so in the winter. Which means I have a dozen or so fine hairs that would get about a 1/4" long. Aside from head, brows, lashes and a some thin, fine pubic hair....I am a bit of a hairless freak.

Hairy armpits or legs on women just kind of freak me out. I am such a terrible lesbian........

I am a bit of a nature person but I was raised to be a southern lady - so it has always been a conundrum for me.  Under my arms - I gave up shaving by the age of 18 or so - just to sensitive.  Around mid 20's, I got tired of the leg shaving as sensitive skin and shaving is just not a good mix for me, so I stopped.  My body hair is a fine, light, reddish-blond and not that prevelaent anyway ( although I have always had these random 5 to 10 or so one-inch long fine hairs swirling around my nipples - must have some testoterone working I guess).

As to smell - just stay bathed and whatever smell remains is a good smell IMO.  Had one guy friend who was just obsessed with my under arm scent - always trying to get me to let him bury his head in my pits - lol. He married a woman who was also scent motivated and they would together try to wear me down - so funny.

But recently on a whim - driving by a place actually called the Brazilian Wax Salon - I swung in impulsively and had everything removed.  That was about 3 months ago and everything is just a fine down now.  I must say that going mooth has made my skin more sensitive which I like and none of the shaving issues are prevalent.  So I may do it again.

Hmmm....I am suspecting the OP is perhaps interested in body hair wanking material - geuss we have all delivered. C'est la vie.

No. it wasn’t about whacking material.

Rather this thread was stirred by an article I read that talked about body scents in relation to having and not having hair in areas in which perspire.

I don't shave my underarms.
It may very well make me less attractive to some people.
If it's a problem for someone that I am involved with then I might change depending on how much of a problem and how much I enjoyed them.

I do not shave them often. I don't feel the need to impress men and don't really see the need for daily shaving other than hygienic reasons in the summer.

i shave because i can hear my mother voice saying "put your legs down"  when she would see unshaved pits.
i have very hairy legs. long thick dark hair. i feel better with it unshaved. i like to wear stockings and if i wear them on unshaved legs it tends to cause pain for some reason when i remove the stockings.
private area.i rather not shave but Master demands it.

(fast reply)

To the OP,

As to shaving ... I recently had my legs lasered (they say you need 3 treatments and I've had one) but until then I'd never shaved my legs.  I don't shave my arm pits as I have very soft, light coloured, sparse hair there so I felt there was no reason.

My male partner has never shaved anything (except his groin and face), has never used an anti-persperant, and has never used a deodorant.  He has almost no body smell.  The only time he ever develops a body smell is when he has been working his ass off, sweated a great deal, and then fallen asleep.  In the morning he has a slight smell which is easily taken care of with a quick shower.

I started using deodorant in my 20's.  Until that time I also had no body smell unless I had gone a number of days without a shower but with a lot of physical work.  Starting to use a deodorant was the worst thing I have ever done.  From that point on I noticed a very definite smell and have had to consistently use deodorant to deal with it.

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but ... maybe that is the point of all the advertising - to get us to use a product that then forces us to continue using said product.  Would be a great way to create a market and a great way to make a fortune if you have the product needed to fulfill that market - hmmmm????

I would like to know is Laser painful?  If anyone has had it done, what would they compare the pain to?  Wished they would come up with more pleasant smelling hair removal creams than the ones in the market

You worry about what you man thinks about your choices? Personally I'd never have a sub who felt they got to have an opinion about how I kept my legs or underarms.

I had all my pubic hair (including underarms) lasered off some years ago because I like the sensation of smooth skin but I am too lazy to shave or wax.

It hurts like someone flicking an elastic band on you.  Anaestetic cream was used "down there" which I think helped a lot.

It took several sessions and I noticed it definitely hurt more at a certain time of the month.

Laser hurt my bank account much more than my body :)
