I'm not a master, but I'd really like to ask a favor. Can I request you not have a naked picture as your avatar? I'm often online on school computers and those types of pictures are prohibited. Ditto at public libraries.

Quite agreed on the picture. Not all of us want to see someone's equipment while trying to browse.

As for finding someone a good idea would be to check out the local gay leather groups and start going to wherever it is that they congregate. That way you'll at least get to know people in real life.

To be noticed go ahead and show everyone that you know how to dress. Having a pic in your profile would also be a good idea. Show class with atleast a hint of dignity. Nudity and showing how easy you are will not get you far. Once you've seen one cock, you've seen them all. When ppl see a nice car they want to drive it and not check out the engine. Unless you're a V12, keeping the hood down is your best bet at getting driven.

As for your profile it's good to say who you are and what you want along with what you have to offer to a master and how you wish to serve.

I wish someone would give this advice to the women who post the nekkid pics as their avatars too. Not that I mind personally, but I do have to be careful anytime I'm on reading the boards whenever one of the unmentionables walk into the room.

Doesn't anyone else find it unusual that when a guy does it, everyone immediately asks that it be removed, but when a woman posts her bare breasts, no one comments? Just another one of those things that make me go hmmmm.

And in answer to the OP's question, I would suggest as others have, posting and letting people get to know you.

Mature images are prohibited. Mature content is not.

I don't access alt, nor do I access the "images" portion of this board or collarme in general, because one -expects- their to be images there. I've been on the boards a while, and in my experience, there aren't not-work-safe images posted in these forums with any frequency.

Too, I wouldn't object too much to a single image. I can scroll past it or close the image. An avatar is displayed with every post. To me, that's a bit harder to avoid.

I am totally new on this or any site and live in a remote area where making contact with like minded is difficult, near impossible. I don't have a car, so am unable to travel easily.
There are no clubs or anything like within 40 miles.
So where do I find the right master?

Lack of transportation and living in a remote area certainly are challenges, but if you are serious about getting involved in the lifestyle, you will find a way. I know the UK has a good train system, and there are many areas that host munches. Check out www.informedconsent.co.uk for a lisitng of groups and events.

Oh no..no...your pic is great siamsa! Very tasteful. I am actually referring to one pic that I saw a number of times within the past couple of weeks. I'm not sure if they are still using it or have since changed it.

As I mentioned, I really don't have a problem with nudity and the reason I did not mention it previously is because as TDW mentioned, this *is* an adult board where one can expect adult content. However, what's good for the gander is good for the goose, and if some unsuspecting fellow is going to get slammed over a nekkid pic, then I just we should be equal opportunity slammers <shrug>.

My original post was a mistake but I was a little surprised by the reaction.
As a number have said, this is an adult site with adults seeking and discussing with adults. Overall, within, there are many naked pictures of both men and woman and since when has the human body been wrong.
I have never thought of nudity as particularly sexy. Very often clothing enhances the sexuality of a person.
I came here with the hope of maybe finding someone but from the comments I don't think it is going to be possible on this site. I will continue to hope for a while longer but in the end I feel I will have to look elsewhere.

So what you're saying is that you want something that isn't real (eg. online-only)? If you want to meet real people then plan well ahead to attend an event or munch as has been suggested throughout this thread. 40 miles isn't so far and you'll get to meet some people who are into SM in a "real" way. If online-only is what you're after though then browse other side of the site and email potential matches.
