That's just sad! I love Christmas trees! My ma's even got this one planted out in the yard from wayyyyyy back when they used to get real trees, his name is Albert. I decorate him every year.

d'ya know why she called it albert? and is there a victoria nearby? lol, that sounds so cute... nice to know other people know the reality behind some customs. i'm sure Bear could tell you about the pagan customs behind the tree as well

why are you wanting to mount a christmas tree? won't that hurt you? i'm thinking mounting/humping a pillow might be less prickly. and hanging from a ceiling upside down to do it, well, perhaps the pain medication is affecting ur reasoning? [:D]

It was in vogue about two or three Christmas holidays ago to hang artificial trees upside down from ceilings, rafters, trusses, whatever. The ornaments would hang outside the tree when done this way. I never thought it was a particularly attractive way to display a tree, but if one is limited on floor or table space, it does become a viable alternative (as long as one has the ceiling height for it).

i need an early christmas with big strong maori's (with tribal tatts) to pack up a moving truck, move all my household goods and then unload it at the other end. and all for a few pizza's and some beer. and of course my special angel kisses!!

I'm rather proud of my bah humbuggedness. I've worked diligently these past 15 or so years to perfect my particular spin on it, so naturally, I'm rather protective of it.
