ORIGINAL: sappatoti Anyone know of any way to safely mount a Christmas tree on the ceiling, hanging upside down? i dont know about that, but i've seen upside-down trees for sale (artificial trees that are built with the wide end at the top) kitten Yes, I've seen them too. It was in vogue about two or three Christmas holidays ago to hang artificial trees upside down from ceilings, rafters, trusses, whatever. The ornaments would hang outside the tree when done this way. I never thought it was a particularly attractive way to display a tree, but if one is limited on floor or table space, it does become a viable alternative (as long as one has the ceiling height for it).
