Could anyone please tell me ....when using wine in an enema do you dilute with equal parts water?...and how long is the enema held?....or is it expeled right away? Thankyou in advance for your answers.

I don't know squat about using alcohol in an enemy other than get it wrong and you can kill someone.

I'll trade you your wine for my water. You use my water and I'll drink your wine and watch you give an enema.

I guess I ought to at least try to answer this seriously....

Ok, it is massivly easy to give someone alchohal poisoning with an enema. Alchohal enters the blood stream quite a bit faster this way, Ive always seen the ratio of 4:1 with water being the 4 parts. A deep intoxication will occur very quickly. The membranes of the intestines are very thin and absorb alchohal much faster than the lining of the stomach. The total amount of alchohal used should never exceed the amount that person would be able to drink in about 1/2 an hour. And of course the results will vary depending on how well said person usually handlles alchohal. White wine tends to do better, as red wine has alot of tannins that can cause some other issues. Do some google searches. SM101 actually has some info in it too. Death and serious injury HAS occured during this type of play.

Very insightful!

Aside from the dangers of potential alcohol poisoning - I know that an intricate balance of intestinal fauna and flora ensure proper digestion and processing of foods, filtering of additional toxins, etc. Personally, I would have some amount of concern as to what effect the alcohol might have on that balance by killing off strain of useful bacteria.

Actually the body is naturally acidic. There are more dangers from adding a basic substance to the digetive tract than an acidic one.

The proper way to do this is to drink the wine and administer the standard enema.
That is unless of course, you're excited by the thought of potential death of a partner.

I'd say Michaels answer was fairly serious...

Truth is, it is difficult to take questions like yours, or stuff like "Who wants to help me hang my wife till she's unconscious and then fuck her while we take pictures" or... oh...say...  "Is it okay to stick a light bulb up my ass?"  ...or a gerbil?"

Sometimes questions are SO outrageous they appear plain ol' trollish.  (with trollish being FAKE...yanno?)

I see you are new here (and your profile indicates you should be smarter than this (ie:  common sense says you should know better at 50+ yrs))...but perhaps you are VERY young?  Seems plausable...so the straight answer is DO NOT DO THAT!!!

Period.
B

...and now I'll wait for that 'disciplianarian' to come tell me I'm being a bigot.   sheeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Knowing what a safety nut Jay is, if he includes a chapter in SM101 on enema play I would trust that long before anything on the net.  Oh, and start BELOW the point you think is okay and work UP to a higher dosage.  Trust me, it really sucks to kill off a decent submissive, think how much work you have put into getting them all trained and stuff.

-fast reply-
GhitaAmati, your reply was very insightful, thank you for that.
Forgive me for playing devils advocate, its what I do best.

Why shouldn't  this  person engage in this type of play.  If we all refrained from engaging in dangerous sorts of play life would become  a boring sort of place. Instead, this person came here to ask HOW to engage in a  more dangerous sort of play.  I see this all over the boards, instead of jumping into something, someone asks how, and they get taunted for it. It isnt like they're doing it. And arent we in this lifestyle because we wanted something different anyway? Variety is the spice of life, when someone asks how to do something keep things new, why is it so terrible to take them seriously, instead of taunting their possibly dangerous idea, taunt enough and they'll just end up in the ER instead of asking first on here for resources first anyway.

There are alot of experienced and insightful players on here, and many times I have refrained from posting on here simply because I knew I would get no reasonable replies, even if the people replying DID have information to give.

A nurse friend told me about a lesbian couple who thought it would be a good idea to insert a lightbulb in the vagina.  She spent four hours in surgery having glass picked out of her twat.  You'd think it wouldn't take a rocket scientist ...

Oh, you would probably get a reasonable reply or two..after about 20 snarky ones.  At least that's the ratio I use when I am the one replying....

This comes up here with great regularity... even weeding out the OPs that are so outre as to be considered trolls, the replies to any sort of edge play,( cutting, asphyxiation, punching, medical, electrical, etc.) range from good advice, to standard cautionary statements about the worst case possibilities, all the way to Pollyanna-esque 'Neeeeever do that'.

Well, somebody IS going to 'do that' , and I hope that the more we give out the first two types of informative replies, the less we are going to read about dead and injured wannabes in the 'Alternative Lifestyles In The News' section.

I often see everyones first response with a type of play that can be considered "on the edge" as "just dont do it". But the truth is, if its happening often enough for Jay to include a chapter about it in one of his books, you have to be willing to conceed the fact that it happens more often than you might think. Id rather actually give some actual advice and some places someone might look for more information, than sit back and say "nope, dont do it, its too dangerous".
