Vampires and Werewolves are overrated.  Zombies are what the cool kids are into now.

Well, since I'm no kid, I still prefer vampires and werewolves to zombies.....Zombies bear a striking resemblence to some of the idjits I work with, so I get my fill of them.....vampires are much more elegant, werewolves are primal.

Just my .05   (adjusted for inflation)

Oh please!  Vampires are whiny Euro-trash snobs who can't bring themselves to look on the bright side of being undead. I fail to see how misery equates to elegance.

Now, werewolves edge them out for being so completely bad-ass and primal as you mentioned.

Zombies still rule for being just completely merciless.

I'd be a vampire in a second given the chance. I already prefer night to day.

It would fun and amusing feeding on all the evil people with my superpowers, amassing a fortune over the centuries to manipulate and control all the little blood bags.

What fun!!

I think I may all ready be one.  I work third shift, I have all these strange marks on my neck where my Master keeps Kissing me, and I love rare meat! LOL

I actually have been infatuated with Vampires since I was a child.  When I was in college I did alot of  Vampire LARP (Live Action Role Play for the non-geeks LOL) and have even done fetish scenes (Vampire Mistress seduces victims) There is a sexy allure to the Vampire that I just don't think Harry the Weredog can pull off.  (Unless its a shaving scene and someone really hot is hiding under all that fur LOL)

I think it is a suduction vs. force thing...or corse vs. class...maybe even bestial vs. ethereal.

I love the vampire fetish scene... ( Blood is just so *pretty* ) and can dig the weres.. ( Primal sex? Hell yes! Just slap my arm back in to socket honey.. ) but the undead , not to mention the accompanying smell, just freaks my cookies. Thanks but no thanks.

And no... 250,000 vodun priest's can't all be right. Don't care.. they are creepy.

BTW if you like all 3.. or just want a good book to read with scads of sex.. look up Laurell K. Hamilton. http://www.laurellkhamilton.org/  Anita Blake raises  zombies but humps the other 2 her books. Great read.

Now she's the one that really sold me on vampires... seems that after hanging around for a few centuries, they pretty much all turn into deeply perverted sadists. Combine that with the Victorian/fetish clothing, superhuman strength, and powers of mind control, and i am SO there!

Thing about becoming a werewolf is; do you shit and piss outdoors like a dog?  I have certain standards to maintain... admittedly, quite low ones but still, it simply won't do to raise my leg at a lamp post.

I like them, I feel like they're my brethren. Then again, my grandfather was from Transylvania, so perhaps I have a genetic affinity with them  .

I think the story of Dracula is deeply sexual i think thats half its point, the attractive solvent gentleman sneaking in on pure innocent girls who arouse him, its about the juxtaposition of love/hate desire/loathing and how insane passion can be.

Also without being a geek the Drusilla Spike relationship is sexy as hell, seriously she has the best lines

"you dont love me"
"yes i do"
"no you dont because you dont hurt me"

"come dear lets have a bath"
"will you hold my head under the water"

classic :D
