ORIGINAL: BossyShoeBitch ... I went to the beauty supply shop and bought all the stuff myself for about $50-$60. (wax warmer, wax, sticks, creams, etc) and have saved myself about $600 over the course of a year! I bought a sugaring kit (almost the same thing as a waxing kit) & tried it out... works wonderfully on the legs, BUT I can't do my own underarms (hurts like an S.O.B too... an NO HAIR GETS REMOVED ). As for the pubes, the mons is fine, most of the majora are fine, but not all of it. I need at least a third hand . So, if you have any amound of love or caring for another human being inside you, PUHLEEEZZZZ tell me how you get completely bare. I and my neither regions will adore you for it. You get someone to help you. My Lady actually does enjoy helping with waxing... she laughs and laughs at the looks I get on my face, which makes me giggle. You need to be able to hold the skin tight when you are ready to pull is the big thing. The water-soluble kits (sugaring) are easier to use at home than the wax, because you can use hot water and soap to get off any remaining sticky. The regular wax takes mineral oil to take off the last stickiness. But to START with, I called around my local city salons until I found one that does Sphynx waxes (sometimes "Hollywood waxes" is the name). A Brazilian wax leaves a "landing strip" of pubic hair, the Spynx is completely bare. Both strip all the nether hair, including places I simply can't reach well enough. The Brazilian wax was designed for people wearing thong bikinis, so any area where hair would show outside such a thong is removed. It seems to me to be easier to maintain the wax job at home, and ya, the salon waxing can be pricey. But I found it a huge help to get the inital wax done by pros.
