Gawd, I can't remember the last time I had a drink, but on those occasions I do indulge, I like Pina Coladas or Strawberry Daquiris.  I used to drink Singapore Slingers, but not since I drank a bunch of them one night on an empty stomach

Great advice. However when you're drunk..I suggest running your finger around the edges instead of your tongue. Lot easier. Messy but easier.

Back in the day, it used to be kamikazees, bat bites, tarantulas, white russians, and whatever concoctions we could mix up using Jagermeister or Goldschlager. But that was some years ago.

ok, someone show me how to do jello shots. i'm nearly a bar virgin (shut up dragon and bear), and i can't bear to ask the 21 y.o. kidlet who knows way more about drinks than i do.

easy.  you make jello from the box but instead of water you use alcohol.  (When I was in college we used grain alcohol..  Sometimes 151 rum)
Then when it's properly solidified (takes much longer than usual), you cut it into little squares and just let it slide down your throat.. YUMMMY!

Well, I never knew how to make shooters, and usually drink straight Crown when I go to the bar, but I remember some jello in the cupboard for when the grand UMs visit, and some vodka in the fridge next to the Kahlua when I tried to figure out how to make White Russians a month ago....***wanders off to the pantry, to hopefully return later, lol.......*****

thanks for the shooter tips everyone. cutting it into squares is probably best idea. don't have walmart here (not sure if that's good or not) and no idea where party place is either. hehe, and 200 mini cups from a caterer is probably wee bit more than i need!

Top shelf margarita on the rocks (with salt), with a side snifter of gran marnier

Manhattan, with an extra splash of sweet vermouth

A cosmo, but only the way my friend Kathy makes them (splash of gran marnier, splash of pomegranite juice)

Kalua and cream

Anis or Sambuca

Wine - Far Niente Chardonnay...various good Cabs (Opus One if I can be spoiled) or Tempranillo or a good Bourdeaux

I'm a "twenty-four-drinks-per-year" person (a couple of drinks, once a month) but, my favorites (in order) are: . o O (Drum roll, please?)

1) Chambord, on the rocks

2) Southern Comfort and Diet Coke™©®

3) Buttery Nipple (butterscitch schnapps, topped off with Bailey's)

Peace and comfort,

Michael

I don't drink, when I have in the past, I drank Pum Runches with extra cherries. Otherwise its a Sherly Temple or Coke with cherries. I am SUCH a good girl.
