shall we dance. i'd just been told i was going to be divorced, and there are several incredibly poignant moments. esp the one in the bar where she's telling her definition of love.

good will hunting. where robin williams tells him that it wasn't his fault. released way too many scary emotions. i haven't watched it since.

Pay it Forward. Doesn't matter how many times I watch it I bawl at the end.
An Affair to Remember. The scene in the living room with her on the couch. Sniffles
Saving Private Ryan. I've yet to get through the first 10 minutes without being teary.

While this isn't a movie but ...Anyone else remember those old Kodak commercials? The one with the Dad and his daughter dancing at her wedding always did me in.

The Godfather - Don Corleone dying in the garden while playing with the kid... so sad.
Shawshank Redemption - Brooks... that's all I can say without giving much away to people who haven't seen it.
Casablanca - I get a bit moist with the "dueling anthems" bit... fuck, I'd go gay for Paul Henreid in that movie...
Apocalypse Now - I guess I have a thing for fat Brando death scenes...

There's lots of 'em - I guess I'm just a weepy guy in the dark

"Bridge to Terabithia" is the most recent movie that made me cry. Others include "Pay it Forward" and "Click"

I'm a crier and I'll admit it. :)

I too am a crier, just about anything can get me at least once. There is one movie though that still gets me everytime and that is Armaggedon, when Bruce Willis sends Ben Affleck back up to the shuttle and I am gone until the end, I just cry and cry for the last minutes of the movie

soultoshare -> RE: Movies That Made You Cry (8/21/2007 11:58:27 AM)

Terms of Endearment made me sniffle a bit, but for all out crying, try the last 30 minutes of The Evening Star, which is the second part to TOD.

The Green Mile book made me cry, so I knew I wasn't going to get thru that without sobbing like a baby either.  I didn't!

And who among us didn't cry at the ending of Love Story????

Is there any movie that made you absolutely cry like a baby? Any movie that you learned alot about yourself from? Well, "Harold And Maude" absolutely made me cry- I learned that true love comes from within- not about age, physical looks or money...every time I watch this movie I cry.[:(]

The Bridges of Madison County.

Edited to add:  An Affair to Remember  (yes, the couch scene.  "If it had to be one of us.. why did it have to be you?"

Auugh! Just reading it has me misty eyed. Such a truly lovely and bittersweet moment.

I don't think there hasn't been a movie I've seen that didn't make me at least teary. There always seems to be a scene in each one that does it. Yes, even Armageddon when he's flashing back before he plunges into the meteor.

I caught Scent of a Woman last night. I hadn't seen it in years and I forgot how poignant a movie it is.

Level -> RE: Movies That Made You Cry (8/21/2007 6:58:48 PM)

Field of Dreams and Dances With Wolves made me cry.
