She just "lies there" and gets tied up, or spanked or what ever. Where as a pro-Domme has to do all the work of getting inside the clients head and running the scene.

Hey, I'm only pointing out the competition that pro-subs have. Pro-Dommes are the ones doing the topping. The Pro-subs, hookers, escourts and prositutes are the ones generally getting topped to Hell and back again. I said Generally that is.

Something to think about.

I think that it depends on what you want. If you want someone who can either sensualize or eroticize the pain of at least a medium hard spanking, it may be difficult to find call girls who are into this. Not everyone likes to be spanked. Sure there are some call girls that do, perhaps. But it could be argued that they are losing business by not advertising this.

Few more points from my perspective:

I don’t feel I have any less status but I do occasionally encounter animosity from those who see me as exploiting the scene.

I work hard on 2 different levels; Experienced Doms know exactly what they want and in that sense make my life easier. They do, however test my limits and some aren’t quite as experienced as they claim.

The inexperience players or ones who have never visited a pro sub before, I’m happy to guide and even write out scenarios to act out.

I am not a ‘lie back and think of England’ pro. If that were the case, I would choose another profession.

All you have listed are schooled and certified using a set of standards established scholastic and government agencies,. How many times do we see a teen something new female come on line here and immediately ask how to be a pro domme and how much should she charge? The ONLY thing you need to do to be a Pro domme is to charge a fee.

And to those that espouse that they are "choosy" as to their clients, I present this- if one is doing Pro domination as their only source of income, they can't be TOO choosy, other wise they'll starve to death. Yet another fantasy the client is somehow special being he/she has been chosen for a session. The reality is their MONEY has been chosen.

I would LOVE to see standards and schooling for this... and the best- the ones who are really worth the money- have that. They have training and they have reviews.

You make statements that you know nothing about. I'm not being mean, you say you wouldn't dare go to one. You are proud of the fact that you don't play this way. So why do you keep making statements which aren't true- and you can't possibly know if they are true. Good dommes and good subs choose their clients. (This means good at what they do, and good at marketing what they do.)

Personally, I think you are missing out. It's kind of like someone who won't get a professional massage because he thinks that is something he ought to get from his girlfriend.

Next month, I'm going to pay someone to flog me. It will be someone whom I research. I'll look at the reviews, talk to folks I know, see her, pay her, tip her well, and have a great time.

If you are open your mind to more experiences, you have more of them...

Can we agree to ignore the one above, please?

It is very hard to establish the actual ratio of pro-sub to pro-domme anywhere; but from my experience it has to be at least 50:1

Most women working in the scene can, after some experience, do either.

There is more demand for Pro-dommes, as make subs vastly outnumber male Doms, and men in the scene outnimber women, which means there is a good market fpor them

A pro-domme is in control, safer and you can see one client after another, without having to wait until the marks heal, etc.

It reallly is not rocket science!

NB I have not often heard it said, here or elsewhere, except to me in person, but one reason the girls (dom or sub) have to charge the rates they do is because most of the wankers (jerks?) who call and make an appointment never have the courage to turn up!

Here is what I know and have experienced, since you seem a bit ill informed about me and my experiences. I sent a sub that was out of state to a pro domme. She was a member and listed of the DDI. I researched the hell out of her to be sure he would be safe. During the course of his visit, she called me to asked me what she should do for him. Hell, SHE'S the pro.. use her vast expertise. (but I gave her some ideas) He's paying her..not me. She did exactly as he told her he wanted to experience. (What a good little"sub" she was LOL).

He had brought her a bottle of wine as a gift for this session. She opened it and BOTH killed it during the session. (He frigging KNEW better. I had hoped she did also. So much for trusting referrals and directories).

She finished it off with him being bound as they watched the news and she then revealed which of the government officials in town were her clients. Real confidential, eh?

Another situation- another pro-Domme in California SWORE just how "I didn't know squat about the honorable pro profession". Two weeks later she was busted for offering anal sex to the undercover cop "submissive" visiting her for an extra $300.

I know several "pros"... who only have ONE paying client. But no matter... they're getting paid and that makes them a pro.

Enjoy your session. I do not envy you the feeling of emptiness afterward in your way home.
