If names were randomly drawn out of a hat (names of people that post on these forums), would you trust a random person (you do not get to choose) from this message board to: * Babysit your small child (under 5 yrs old) for a weekend? * Top/dominate your girlfriend or sister? * Take care of your pets for one week? * Go on a blind date with your best friend? For the most part I would have to say no. Nothing personal guys but I know no one here personaly it takes much for me to trust to that point. There is one person on another board I would trust that far. But in all fairness I wouldn't expect you to trust me either. So it's all good. [:)]

I'm not sure how anyone can trust someone they haven't met, it's difficult to know enough about people wants meet frequently.

Akasha No, I would not trust a random person from CM (or anywhere) to do any of the above. However, in my time here, I've gotten to know a handful of people that I've grown to trust with my personal information, name, phone number etc, and a couple whom I've met. It's a small handful of people, but those people I would trust with any or all of the above.

Nope! Not that i wouldn't want to be friends, just trust is something that isn't given out. I can only think of one person i trust enough and that is because i know him face to face.

I might trust them with my pets, because I have rats and there's not much you can do to screw up taking care of rats. But I wouldn't trust half the people I do know to babysit my young child (if I had one) or become in any way involved with my best friend or sister. I'd never trust those things to a random stranger. MAYBE if I was allowed to watch them the whole time through the sights of a sniper rifle. Would that be permitted?

Your questions deal with issues that are extremely personal to the person involved. Because of that; no random picking of a person, from anywhere, would I trust with the well-being/care of family or friends. Best of wishes callie

You -do- realize trust is earned, right? To randomly assign anyone to babysit children is about the stupidest idea I've heard in a long time. Nor would I trust the regulars to do it either: strangers all. I assume there is a purpose to this other than getting the obvious answer from everyone? (o.O)

"Random" people off the board is not the same thing as people i chat to and take note of. There is quite a difference asking advice and reading lots of answers against trusting people with kids ect. There are some here i would trust however.

Watching kids is definitely a job for trusted friends or family. * Top/dominate your girlfriend or sister? I don't have a sister, but I do have a brother. He is a cocky kind of guy that fights at the drop of a hat, and he spent 2 years in prison. So if someone wants to try, I wouldn't care. He can take care of himself. * Take care of your pets for one week? I have a cat, and she pretty much takes care of herself. About all a person has to do is fill up her food bowl every couple of days. I have trusted neighbors I barely knew to do that. So sure, why not? * Go on a blind date with your best friend? They couldn't be any worse than some of the bums I have seen my friends date, so sure. They are adults, and they don't need me to mother them.
