And no, an anuual audit will not be made available upon request although documentary evidence of the works of the charity may be available, based upon negotiations with said faux librarian and how much I like the person who asks.[;)]

I just want to apologize for my pointed tone on this thread. I re-read the entire thread, and some of my responses were pretty pointed - more than normal for me, even though I can be assertive. Hope there is a way to bridge any misunderstanding with any whose feelings I might have hurt, and just move on. I do have an explanation, but it's personal and just doesn't really matter anyway, and had nothing to do with anyone here.I'd rather not go into detail about that, and bottom-line, it's still no excuse. Sorry for any misunderstanding or hurt my cranky attitude might have caused. - Susan

Thank you for that, Rule. To answer your other Q in your other post, (which I completely missed before, because actually an awful lot really has been "flying over my head" lately, (and that might be why I got so defensive about it w/Churro) and it's starting to scare me (but I am fixing it). In a few I really am going to go and do some maintenence stuff I have to do. I just wanted to apologize for being such an ass. I normally don't jump on people like I did in this thread. Anyway,thanks for being nice. I realized it is too ironic (for me) to be on a thread about Mother Theresa, and be bitchily arguing my POV. I do actually think the Catholic church might be under a lot less suspicion if it had more open book-keeoping practices Off topic* : Anyway, just to answer your other Q (I hope it was a Q, as you described different types of Doms, etc). My experience is mostly as a submissive, and I really appreciate that role. I am about 60% submissive, and about 40% Domme. I mean as far as how often I think about doing activities in those "roles" (my experince as a Domme is limited). I've only been an active Domme for a few months, and still have lots to learn (which I am doing, slowly). I was an active submissive for a couple years longer than that. I use the word active to delineate real play (1/12 - 2 years), but as far as fantasizing goes, I've always had them in both "roles". But - I also can truly separate the two roles, which is what I think makes people sometimes freak over Switches (they think they won't do that, or be able to do that). But I am definitely most used to being a submissive, as far as experiences go. And I know in the rest of your post you were referring to God, etc - and I did not think you were joking. Then again, I remember your posts from last year, and kind of how you are. I understand you really do try to stay objective, and you are. And everyone esle was just expressing their own POV. Anyway, it's all just not a big deal, the way this thread went down, it's a forum, and people can of course express their POV's, and that's fine with me. Yes I have only been here for less than a week and appart from a couple of players I have found that this is a true site and has enable to me to keep up with current trends plus meet others of our lifestyle. I do not feel so isolated as I did as old Dommes like me see to fade away in this country and I was not willing to let that happen lol

Forget them - you are certainly welcome here.There have been several delightful folks I read who post At CM from the UK, and if I am not mistaken some on this thread (Politesub53 is from there, I know). Lots of Dommes here - from just about everywhere, too. Just wanted to say - as a tourist last Summer in the UK last Summer (London) I really loved it. The people were so friendly, and the cab drivers really knew what they were doing - I guess they take a huge exam and have to know all of the streets really well, to get a license (not the case here in the U.S., not to that degree anway) - and the cabs over there are just huge inside - wow, coud fit 6 people in there with loads of room to spare. My favorite place was Westminster Abbey - whata fascinating place that as for me - so many famous people buried there, plus just beautiful. And the Tower of London, too. It was the first time I'd ever seen it. I am sure you will meet lots of nice folks here. Welcome and good luck in your quest.[:)] - Susan

Well anyway, I do think Rule was right about God deciding, as far as final evaluation about Mother Theresa (I think that is what was meant anyway). As for the rest of what was recently tossed around on the thread - it's the Earth life now (whether one is religious or not), with all of its icky parts, like it or not, I guess. There's lots of good stuff, too, though - it's not all a festering sewer - there are times I do think Earth might really be the asylum of the universe, when I turn on the news, and wonder what it might be like to re-locate to some other place far away, hehe - like Venus or Mars (if that was possible. Which of course, it isn't). But who knows what that would bring? There is lots of beautiful stuff happening here, too. Lots of it. Got to go take care of stuff. Hope everyone has a good day. - Susan

I just don't do it either, mostly for the same reasons. It seems an extreme solution. It sounds like something people do in the heat of the moment (at least from self-reporting blockers, who annouce the process is taking place). There does seem to be a lot of it going on, in the General Discussion forum, for some reason - or maybe I am just noticing it more, for the first time. New side -Topic? Why do people block other people on-line? My guess is, one main answer would be something along a general: Man, he/she just really pisses me off!! But - I always thought it might be interesting to just read somebody's posts, if they spooked me or made me ticked for some reason, too. It's not like they can reach through the screen, and hit me or try to kidnap me. I guess if somebody was harrassing me off-line or something, and was on here too, or was actually being threatening as in mentioning doing bad things to me (not in a good way, either, hehe) I'd use it. But that hasn't ever happened (to me) here. I may be just lucky that way...hope it keeps up, if that's what it is. I think the announcements are kinda funny, too. There are people who apprently block about every 5th or 6th person they encounter, judging from some recent threads I've read. Their prerogative, and I know some people do have very good reasons, but sometimes it seems almost sorta like a new toy, to them, or something. A wonderful new invention - some seem to be "testing it out": Does this really work?...Cool! They are then proud: "Hey, shut up! You are now Blocked*!" Etc. - Susan

I don't allow myself to block on the forums, I did it once and vowed to never do it again for several reasons. 1. I refuse to allow anyone on here the power to upset me. 2. If something someone types annoys me I try to take a step back and look at myself rather than them and question WHY it bothers me. Because I believe it is my own issue, not theirs. Something within myself being reflected back at me that I need to deal with on some level. 3. I have found that I can learn from the most unlikely people. 4. Sometimes it's enjoyable to watch someone "see the light" and give them a pat on the back of encouragement. 5. Sometimes I "see the light".........aka #3 6. And yeah, like Sinergy.......sometimes it is way fun to poke sharp sticks

I've been online a long time and when I did most of this sort of communicating in newsgroups I blocked people on a faily regular basis. Mostly it was for behavior that will get a mod involved in a forum like this so I don't block anyone now.

I love that about this place. It is the only message board I post on where people are continually posting about blocking other people. Talk about wanting to allow other people to control you! It's especially funny when it comes from a dominant and he blocks a submissive. [:D]
