I can cook and have for years (I'm a mother) but I'm really a pastry chef at heart, not breads though. I do a triple chocolate cheesecake that makes strong men weep. But it's a major pain since I'm also chief cleaner up around here and it takes every bowl in the house in the prep stage.

Right now I have peach jam to prep, peel and chop one day, can the next.

Given that your profile says that "fine dining" is a dislike for you, I must agree... Feel free to enjoy eating all the crap food that you can con some witless tart to make for you that tastes like caribou dung. It's not just her love of you that would prompt this - nay, indeed, she'd consider it almost a Holy Mission...

Personally, I blame attitudes like yours for the decline of America over the last 44 years...

And if SDFD isn't going to drink hers, toss her boxcar my way. Danke schoen...

Hey! I want the Boxcar, it's the Belaying Pin that would have me on the floor unconscious. You're welcome to the BP. Bitte schoen.

I cook (Male) in O/our relationship because My wench/wife is a banquet cook; If it says banquet on the box, she can cook it!
