Well I was discussing this with a friend. We've seen a lot of ProDoms men and women alike who damonate for a living. It's be great right? Do what you really enjoy and get paid?

Of course I got thinking that I've even seen Pro Subs but I havent seen any male ones. My question is Would any female dominant pay a submissive male?

Hehe, or all my dreams of doing what I like and getting paid for it dashed? Hehe Im most curious honestly. Just wondering wether it's a two way street or not.

I'm pretty sure there's *someone* out there that would pay for the service. . .but if you mean catering strictly to Femdoms in general. . .it would be like trying to sell snow to an eskimo. . .

If the idea works, can We start a practice of complaining that prosubs are doing what they enjoy while getting paid?

You should get plenty of work as a pro-sub in the gay scene, if you live in a big city.

I have only known 2 female pro-subs. They strongly advised to only work in dungeons where the client is supervised by the house in some way (cameras, a Mistress or another pro-sub in attendance etc) .

Its too easy to get accidentally badly injured (as these girls were). But the money is much better for pro-subs than for pro-dommes, being about 50% more per half hour.

You are a pretty young boy. My sub suggested you might be highly skilled as well. An older and wealthy woman might pay for your services (in the same way some women pay for giggilos) but we suspect that it is a small market.

You need to frame and deliver a service to Mistresses that is superior to what they can get for free.

Heh, i was thinking that the other day, when i wandered across a profile for a Pro who was old enough to be my mother, but claimed half as many years experience as i've had... i've done enough "edgy" stuff to tutor novice Dommes, don't much mind "war wounds", have a dedicated playroom, private land outdoors, and several grand worth of toys of all descriptions... So Where Is Mah MONAY?

Well Ladypact it'd only be fair that people get to complain about Prosubs too rihgt? :D

Im not so much considering it myself but I was just curious about it though.... it's tempting. But I don't really have the experience to be a prosub. I don't have very much training but Im at least willing ;) and Bisexual so I guess I'd have twice the market heh.

I knew of 1 male pro sub in Chicago working out of a Pro Dungeon that has since closed.

When they were open the owner was a business assoc and when I asked how the male pro sub was working out they said they let him go because 99% clients(all male) where interested in only sexual contact with the sub.

PetDave, maybe you could make money and rent out your play space to pro-Dommes. Not only would they get a location that is not their home to have sessions in, which adds to their personal safety, but you could act as their bodyguard in case one of the clients gets rowdy or demands something the Mistress doesn't offer.

Sounds like a win-win to me.

You know, I was thinking today that the best solution to this whole thing is to do wiitwd for free. Maybe if more people stop complaining, and start doing, there will be fewer threads that are based on the money factor.

Believe it or not, that's crossed my mind... i've been told more than once that i give off a "bouncer vibe"

I have decided to become a consultant for dommes. If a domme is at a loss for what to do to a sub, Sea's Consulting for Dommes is the answer. For an additional fee, I will even allow the suggested scenario to be rehearsed.

Here is an excerpt from my latest consultation:

DommeWhoNeedsHelp: Help! I don't know what to do! I need to somehow discipline my sub
Sea: I think you should spank him.
DommeWhoNeedsHelp: Oh my God! That's a great idea! Thank you! You really are good! Here. Here's your check. I left the amount blank. You can put in whatever amount you like. Your advice is definitely worth it!
Sea: Thank you. If you write me another check, we can rehearse the scenario.

Well as much as I apreciate humour and all, it seems to me that some have misunderstood my question. I wasn't making slight toward any Pro Doms or Pro Subs, I was genuinely curious about the prospect of being a male pro sub.

Im sorry if this idea ofends people, but I don't see how it's any different than a female pro sub or Pro Dom. Perhaps I am misinterpriting the jokes for sarcasm, and if that is the case I am sorry. But I really was just curious.

To be honest, I think all sorts of people think they have the answer to this based on their beliefs of what might happen. You really don't know how viable it is unless you actually try it. History is filled with examples of people who made a mark on society by doing something everyone else said just wouldn't work (like that crazy guy that suggested filling up tap water in a bottle and then selling it for a HUGE profit). People assume a pro sub wouldn't work because people assume dominant women can get whatever they want just by asking for it and that there are a gazillion majillion subs who would do it for free. I've thought about that premise a lot of times because we keep hearing stories of how dominant women are so completely pissed off all the time at submissives who pretend to be something but end up being something else.

It would seem to me that there would probably be women who purport to have the same type of fantasies of dominating some guy and NOT having to maintain a continuous relationship with him. Much like submissives become attached to their dominants, I really could see a dominant woman actually becoming somewhat attached to a submissive man who happens to be a professional in almost the same way. The reason we don't believe it's possible is because we keep telling ourselves the same theory without ever actually testing the question.

So, why don't you try and find out? I don't mean this as a cast off or an insult, but as actual advice. Such a thing would never work for me because I'm the type of submissive who really can only be loyal to the one woman who might one day own me. I don't see myself as someone who would handle having to be submissive to a different person on a constant basis. But I'd think I'm more rare than the average, so in this case, that's actually a good thing for someone seeking such an economic disposition or occupation.
