When I met my husband (a strong dominant), I was posing as a submissive. It seemed like the right role, but after we got married, my husband began to see that I was much better suited for the domme role. He's the one that actually started me on my journey to where I am now. Now we are both dominants, but at times I will submit to him as a bottom. However, he is the one and ONLY one I will do this for. I have plenty of subs that I can dominate at any time. Believe it or not, our marriage has actually become stronger since I became a dominant. We see things on an equal level and do sometimes come up with devilish ideas to try on subs, whether they be mine or shared. If something were to happen to him (God forbid), I doubt I would ever look for a sub to replace him. I talked to another female domme recently who's looking for a significant other and she agreed that it would just have to be another dominant. As has been pointed out already, it's not just about the sex or the power exchange. We are very much in love and THAT my friends is what's really important. The rest just falls into place.
