For everyday, I like to wear the light, single-floral "body splash" from Bath & Body Works, like Honeysuckle, Peony, Cotton Blossom, Lilac and Cherry Blossom.

For "good", my old favorite is Clinique's Aromatic Elixir, and recently, I fell in love with Sarah Jessica Parker's "Lovely".

I don't like any heavy overpowering scents. I use all perfumes very sparingly.

A scent that is both coquettish and sinister. Exotic and lush, brimming with grace and viciousness: almond with star jasmine, oakmoss, red sandalwood and Egyptian musk.

My niece gave me one of her sample bottles from BPAL once, those little IMP bottles? I think it was called Highwayman or something. For some reason, it smelled leathery to me.

I wear Cool Water on a regular basis.

yes - BPAL does some "sample sizes" and calls them IMPs... but not all fragrances are available in such. It *is* a good way to try things out. An ex turned me on to BPAL (same one who introduced me to plum chutney on ice cream)... and I *still* like them - that's the best endorsement I can offer.

Found a new one that I sort of like: HM by Hanae Mori. No idea who this is... but the vanilla and lemon come out when I put it on. Slightly sweet, but still pretty mellow and it hasn't gone all stinky on me yet. Makes me think of Christmas pudding a bit. I've a sample and I'm going to see how that works on a longer timespan...
