The one I collared is my sub as well as wife. I gave her a collar after asking "Are you ready to submit and serve only me?" Be a sub or slave, she is the one who serves me. And that's why she wears a collar.

Yes, you most certainly can be collared as a submissive, the collar is symbolical between both you and your Dom, the collar is your gesture of submission and his of ownership.

with as many views of all this way of life has to offer.. there are just as many views on collars... i do not believe it matters as to if one is a submissive or a slave.. i adore my collar it helps me feel closer to my Master when we are away.

Let's bring all down to this.

Slaves generally get collared by there Master. A master is the one who places there collar upon there slave.

Now, you ask if a sub can wear a collar. Well, can a Dom place a collar on a sub? Well, I placed a collar on my sub. Masters can give collars, Doms can give collars. Slaves can wear collars and subs may wear collars as well. It's that easy.

What do a collar mean to you? If it is a bond between a Master and a slave, then that is what it means, between a submisive and a Dom? Then it means that, a collar will mean what you want it to, like a ring might be a ring of frindhsip, a wedding band, a school or order ring, a gay pride or other symbol ring or it may just be decoration. A collar is a piece of jewlery. You have it meaning. i own a pink, fluffy, leopard pattenered collar whit spike studs, it for me have no more meaning than any other pieace of pretty jewlery, even if it is a collar, while others might mean more. Sure submisives get collared, if your relationship say they do.
