Status: offline 		Announcement: LRODANDMASTER (you know, Dumass Dom, the guy who makes all those obnoxious comments in capslock mode) is officially retiring. Turns out all kinds of people didn't realize he was just being a dumass, and have complained to the mods about him, so he's been asked to cut back. Since I don't want to cause trouble for a free site operated by mods who devote their own time and money to keeping it afloat, I'm just going to let LRODANDMASTER die a quiet death.

Status: offline 		I liked the humor but I can understand the responses, newbies flood these boards constantly and none of them know what's up or down or sideways.

Though my guess is that it came from his recent "bitch" comment which some people took WAY too personally.

i attended a funeral today. Two dear friends died. One was a dumb ass who made jokes that lightened the mood and were, per force, not politically correct at all times. The other was Humor. A stepson of Humor will be living with me until he reaches college age, and those who wish to send him messages may reach him at my email addy.

i do realise there is a corner of the boards devoted to "Humor". That is not a relation. My Humor is a brash, ungainly Scillian who will join the Mob as soon as he is 18. The "Humor" you may see on the Forums is a middle class accountant and has a nice fat pension.

Oh, and no, he's not on b.com anymore either--and hasn't been in a long time--mainly because b.com doesn't moderate their forums worth a damn, and I'd rather not be bothered with all the twits. So I prefer to sacrifice LRODANDMASTER and stay here, where at least the moderators care about decorum on the boards, then go back to b.com where you have to have a silver membership just to pick your own nose.

I suppose for folks who are not regulars here and don't know your standard persona, Dumass Dom is a bit of a shock. I guess its a good thing that we get new readers, even if they are casual and infrequent. But still, I will miss the smartass comments.

How much does it cost to be a fully functioning member of b.com? I haven't been there since they were brand spanking new with cuffs.com and nobody charged anybody anything.

Status: offline 		I don't know what the cost is. V used to be a member, but didn't resubscribe. I'm not sure why everyone left. Free members can still post on the boards, and you can still email anyone who hasn't set their options not to accept it. You just have to email them at their b.com account...like [email protected] from an outside email addy.

I hated their message boards though, because everyone jumped all over everyone else, no matter how innocent the post or sincere the question. Then again, I see that here...and according to my owner's response to reading some of my posts last night, I've turned out to be like that myself with the sharp tongue and all (sigh). How depressing to discover that you exhibit the same characteristics you abhor in others. ('nuther sigh).

We all have bad days. I know I must sound as though I hate most of the board, when in reality it is only about 3 here who bother me. Mostly because of inconsistant statements they make almost daily.
Anyway, my dom tells me to use the boards, here and another place like my daily newspaper. I know just like you I have values to offer people.
If you have common sense you know people have bad days.
It does get tiring when you hear the same question asked for the 100th time. Although if you stop to consider, it is a new person asking and they don't know. Put yourself in their shoes.

Anyway, hope to see you posting here a long time.

And people, Lordandmaster is not going anywhere....RE-READ what he said....damn.....hehe
