ORIGINAL: Level If most people would stop eating carbs, then health (and the related health care) would be vastly improved. Carbs are not the enemy for every person. Stop painting nutrition with that wide brush. If everyone would eat a well-balanced diet, health and related health care would be vastly improved. A couple points gathered from recent articles: Most theories and practices regarding healthcare are based on tests on male rats, mice, etc. Scientists are now discovering that many of these theories and practices simply do not apply to the female and have begun to test female rats, mice, etc. in addition to their male counterparts. They never wanted to before because the female system is more complicated. Most carbohydrates are junk. The only ones I would advise anyone to eat are those found in vegetables, and most fruit (if that person doesn't have insulin resistance issues on the latter). Are they tasty? Oh yes...... But yes, if people ate better, health would be improved. quote:
female system is more complicated *smiles warmly* My apologies, I didn't notice the "most". Although, we can't really say most, can we? We can say some. There are good carbs out there. They just aren't found in white bread and snack foods, white rice or potatoes!
