I'm curious if there is a trend/relationship of  D/s orientation to birth order.  I'm a middle child (of 3 kids) and am a switch (leans toward submissive). Now that I think about it, my  older brother and younger sister are more Dominant (but, not in the lifestyle to my knowledge)

Second of two, the older is a brother that tormented the shit out of me. And I  love labels, I fall under the heading of most of them...as do many of the people that I know...I really don't believe in labels. We are who we are, why must we have a label?

was the only child too until i was 11yrs old ...it's great being the only girl in the family (i get more stuff during Christmastime than my brothers do)

still spoiled as i approach 40

Youngest of 5 - submissive.

But then both my sisters are submissive too, and they fall 2nd and 3rd in order of birth.

firstborn out of two, submissive.  my brother is an asshole.  think Mr Spock, but not so emotional and warmhearted.

personally, mama raised me to wait on my father, and submit, but not in so many words...and its continued to color all the relationships i've had since then.

Youngest kid - submissive.

My parents were vanilla, but I look back on their relationship and realize my mother was dominant, my dad submissive, and my brother is remarkably neutral about everything.
