Let's see... I'm twenty, almost twenty-one. I have been perving over information on BDSM since I was 14. I was in my first D/s relationship at 16 with someone much older than myself. I've had about four relationships involving some form of BDSM, including my current one. I've topped someone all of three times. While the scenes were enjoyable, there wasn't a plethora of technical skill involved. My skill sets are not all that impressive. I can throw a flogger, because my Dominant taught me how. It is really fun and I tend to pretend I'm going ninja on someone's ass instead of actually beating it. I can also do some basic tying people up stuff. I know a little bit about a lot of things, because I've read about them on the internet. I have never taught a workshop. I can probably name the people in the scene I know on my hands. When I look at older people who having 300 dollar whips and corsets and really cool shoes and a million years worth of experience, I pretty much expect them to overlook me as I have nothing that says, 'HEY LOOK AT HOW UBER KINKY I AM!' I think what I am most proud of is my relationship. I love my dominant. I love the path on which we are walking. I love the way we interact and the structure he provides. I love submission. I love opening up to him in ways that were impossible for me before. So I guess if I had any wisdom to impart to the older generation it would be this...relationships are important, so build them well. :) It isn't quite as interesting as it doesn't involve leather in any form, but it's all I got for you old folks.
