To start off with, i know Mistoferin personally, as in real folks meeting face to face, not online.
 
Erin has probably done more scenes, attended more play parties, group meetings and organized BDSM events than there are days in your life.
 
After reading most of your statements i also can only say"huh?".
 
I've seen a few folks cut by whips. The are several differences in a bull whip and a signal tail, the handle being the least of these.
 
And you can always buy a new toy, scars are forever.
 
And to bring it back to the age thing, at 21 you may very well be proud of your scars, at 50 you will probably feel differently.

Ok to start off with my age is 29, and I was brought into this lifestyle when I was 27. I admit I am engaged to my sub, and happy. But I am still so new to this lifestyle. I am still growing into what I am today. Until a month ago I thought I was a switch, and realized I like being a Domme way more than a sub. I just know it is going to take me many more years to understand what I like to do, and what I don't. Is this typical?

Being ignored because of age has never really been an issue to me; if people wish to disregard what I say because of my age, they're welcome to do so. Would you want your intelligent rhetoric misinterpreted by ignorant people who practice such discrimination?

I thought it was just me who felt that way. At times I get confused cause I am not sure if it was my sub wants or what I want. Most of the time it is what I want to do. I have learned I dislike giving out pain, but have found ways to overcome that. I like bondage, collars, and leashes. But I still don't know what else I am into so to speak. I admit I am young compared to my sexual life. I am still experimenting on what I like, and dislike. My sub has brought out the best in me in that regards though.

To me, it is the journey of learning and growing that makes it fun, interesting, exciting, and keeps me feeling young.  There is always something new to learn.  Each experience is different and new.  That's a big part of what i love about BDSM, no matter how many times i am whipped or tied or humiliated, it's never the same way twice.

Kinda in sync. He enjoys pain, and I can't do it. But other than that minor roadblock, nothing else is wrong. I just thought I would add my thoughts, and opinions to this board. I am sick with the flu, and should be in bed at the moment. So that is where I am headed. Night all, and thank you CelticLord for the help.

Many are familiar with Robert Dante who is regarded, perhaps, as one of the foremost experts on the art of bullwhipping. Having watched this man in action, I totally understand the reputation. He's, in a word, amazing. I present his opinion on whether or not bullwhips can cut/slice skin.
