LotusSong -> Invite to the OVER 30's Crowd (9/6/2007 9:31:12 AM)

Inspired by Bita's post.  OVER 30's, please post your comments here in response to something you read on the UNDER 30'S thread and let them have their thread.

Well, I've been involved in a sor of TNG group some years ago, and quite simply, I don't really think age matters. I always read peoples posts for what they have to say, of most people I wouldn't even know their are, and why should I?

I'm old, when going to the lost and found, I always tend to walk into the kitchen...Hey, where did I leave my reading glasses?

Don't fret too much about it too much... I understand it's not that uncommon for some men your age.  [;)]

Stephann -> RE: Invite to the OVER 30's Crowd (9/6/2007 9:48:24 AM)

Dammit.  I just don't fit in anywhere.

Stephan

Exactly 30 years of age.

divi -> RE: Invite to the OVER 30's Crowd (9/6/2007 9:50:44 AM)

domiguy -> RE: Invite to the OVER 30's Crowd (9/6/2007 9:51:44 AM)

Yeah...No one wants to deal with someone going through their terrible 30.

BOUNTYHUNTER -> RE: Invite to the OVER 30's Crowd (9/6/2007 9:52:56 AM)

This Aug 1 I entered the over 30 twice era and still going strong.I believe age does has its limits but I haven't found mine yet...I am sure they are lurking just over the next hill waiting to pounce,,bounty

MasterLordguru -> RE: Invite to the OVER 30's Crowd (9/6/2007 9:54:50 AM)

I hit 30 earlier this year. But my associations go both ways? OH NO!! What do I DO?

Seriously.. its a #. I recall dreading hitting 30. It meant, no longer the luxary of bieng in my 20's and dating the older woman. It also meant its all downhill for us "MEN"

I think that I am enjoying 30..  I woke up to a wonderful gift from a submissive back on my birthday and since then.. the younger ones look up to me for my mentor skills and the older ones see me as stable. Mmmm... Enjoy the age.

LotusSong -> RE: Invite to the OVER 30's Crowd (9/6/2007 9:55:58 AM)

sigh.. ok I guess I'll have to spoon feed this thread to get it going.

I avoid under 30's because:

They need to take their lumps to pay their dues, just like the over 30's have done.

They seem to be too much into S and M (Stand and Model).  Just because you look the part and make the noises that sound like the part, doesn't mean you ARE the part.

I'm always willing to answer questions from the under 30's, but hesitant to go into details.  Responsibility for a scene does not end at the turning out of the light in the dungeon at the end of the evening.  A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Over 30's that have been in this for any length of time see patterns.  We can pretty well predict where a respective "journey" is going to leave them.  They don't want to hear any insights because "well.. they're different!".  OOOOOOOOOkay- so sue us if we don't enjoy watching train wrecks.

A wonderful saying is:  "If you want to know what lies on the road ahead, ask those coming back."
