I realize in a place where every wannabe hits on everyone, it can be hard to imagine someone who is focused enough to seek only those who closely match, and not worry about whether everyone else wants to climb into bed with him or not.

I love it when people realize that their situation is undesirable to most and therefore are willing to be patient about the search.

The problem is that I really don't think you realize why.

You fail to see that most people would be put off having any sort of relationship with you becuase you constantly bring up your wife and child at every turn.

If my Master brought up his wife half the number of times you do I would no longer be with him.

I think you fail to see that I'm not interested in "most people" wanting me. I seek 2, no more than 3, with whom I'll form my poly family.

They will recognize me as I will recognize them. They will hear me and understand.

I realize in a place where every wannabe hits on everyone, it can be hard to imagine someone who is focused enough to seek only those who closely match, and not worry about whether everyone else wants to climb into bed with him or not.

But I am here nonetheless.

I am under no illusions that the ones I seek are rare, and thus more precious to me than all those whom you call "most people".

But what of it?

I do not fail to see anything. In fact I see all too clearly what you are here for.

I have a feeling that you will have a long wait given your attitude. I have been in the very position of one of those that you seek. Starting a relationship with a Master who lost his wife (and yes he too sat at her bedside while she died of cancer) but I am grateful that he at least had the maturity and inner strength to deal with his grief and move on before searching for another partner.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with a dead wife and child, or trying to find new slaves. It never has, on any thread, and neither have the politics, or the friggin weather even. What it DOES have to do with, is a forum fetish. When a thread ends, and there is nothing left to dispute, because no-one else has posted, then its time to start a new one with something else guaranteed to stir up a storm. Reply to the posts you think you can poke a hole in, ignore any that you can't. The computer is never turned off, the logout button is never used. The adrenalin surges.... what a head rush - the written joust - to put someone in their place,  and anxiously await their response, oh the bitter disappointment when they don't.... quick, move on, look for the next one ..........

Well?

This has gone on far longer than it should have, and whether or not it even has a place here is debatable, but there it is.
