First, myself.  If that fails, I listen to my dog.

He tells me to do things.  Very, very bad things.

Generally I don't bang into walls.  Although it has happened on occassion.  I broke my nose once as a child when my cat tripped me when she was running down the hall.  I hit the wall hard.  Mom said if I hadn't been conscious she would have thought I was dead with all the blood.  Suffice to say it has happened.

However, when things go wrong in life I have faith in myself.  If you read the bible it says something to the effect God looks out for those who look out for themselves.  It is something like that, but that isn't the exact quote.

So, that's about all you can do.

I can't always make things work, so I don't put faith in myself.  I just try.

All else fails, there's always Harry Potter.  He'll know what to do.

I believe in myself.

And during football season, I try really hard to believe in Big Ben.

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me.
Love was out to get me
Thats the way it seemed.
Disappointment haunted all my dreams.

Then I saw her face, now Im a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
Im in love, Im a believer!
I couldnt leave her if I tried.

I thought love was more or less a given thing,
Seems the more I gave the less I got.
Whats the use in tryin?
All you get is pain.
When I needed sunshine I got rain.

Then I saw her face, now Im a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
Im in love, Im a believer!
I couldnt leave her if I tried.

Sinergy

Divine order.  Everything happens for the good, whether we understand it at the time or not.

A couple of years ago I would have said God.  And then my faith was rattled and I realized I couldn't say that anymore.  For awhile after that, I was saying I lost my faith.  But not so long ago I realized I didn't lose it at all - I just placed it elsewhere.

I have faith in myself.

I also have faith in my Master, who reminds me of my faith in myself should it stumble.

i believe there's more good people than bad.
i believe in being thankful for every little thing.because that is what life is made off.
although a wiccan i believe in the spirit of christmas.

Faves, that's funny, just yesterday a Coast Guard buddy who lives in Calif and is a wedding officiant told me his wife is Wiccan and that they were married by a Wiccan Preistess!
He said, "yeah, it's right on the wedding certificate."
I was raised Catholic but the older I get the further away I get from feeling any "connection" to it.
Plus, it doesn't help that they like to have sex with UMs and now harbor illegal aliens.
When I was in Ireland the last time I ran into some Wiccans there from America and they said that it is like a "pilgrimage" to them to go to Ireland. They said they could "feel" connections to the earth stronger there than anywhere else on earth.
I don't really know that much about Wicca or Paganism but I definately felt "something" there. But, my grandparents came from Donegal not too far from where "Enya" comes from so maybe that was it. Interesting.
Have you been to Ireland yet?
I usually rely on myself and on "God". Whatever "God" is.

Hard for me to explain but i know that when i ask for help, help comes.  It is believing that while i may not always have what i want when i want it, i will always have what i need when i need it.  Humbling myself to the Power i cannot see or explain assures i will be cared for.  Things go wrong, tragedy happens, and whenever life appears ugly, i pray to see beauty.... and that prayer has always been granted.

PS - *smiles* Thank You, InkedMaster
