ORIGINAL: favesclava i believe there's more good people than bad. i believe in being thankful for every little thing.because that is what life is made off. although a wiccan i believe in the spirit of christmas. Faves, that's funny, just yesterday a Coast Guard buddy who lives in Calif and is a wedding officiant told me his wife is Wiccan and that they were married by a Wiccan Preistess! He said, "yeah, it's right on the wedding certificate." I was raised Catholic but the older I get the further away I get from feeling any "connection" to it. Plus, it doesn't help that they like to have sex with UMs and now harbor illegal aliens. When I was in Ireland the last time I ran into some Wiccans there from America and they said that it is like a "pilgrimage" to them to go to Ireland. They said they could "feel" connections to the earth stronger there than anywhere else on earth. I don't really know that much about Wicca or Paganism but I definately felt "something" there. But, my grandparents came from Donegal not too far from where "Enya" comes from so maybe that was it. Interesting. Have you been to Ireland yet? I usually rely on myself and on "God". Whatever "God" is.
