Hi people.....

I have been on this site for some time and I got plenty of messages from slaves, "slaves", wannabe slaves..... and some rare nice and normal submissives.

I would like to ask a question about the first group.
Am I the only one who finds this pitiful and illiterate acting just nauseating?

First - the title.
I cannot imagine why should total stranger that knows nothing of me (or I of him) call me Mistress? On what ground he concludes I was or want to be any kind of mistress to him?

Second - the meaning.
Why on earth all those "slaves" use only small letters, dont ever use enter key and sound completely ignorant and illiterate in their messages? I really dont care for couple of confused sentences that tell me nothing about person who wrote them - only that he picked up some BDSM jargon somewhere and is trying to be "humble".
What possible answer could I write back to the plain nonsense thats been written to me?

Third - the writing about oneself.
I simply cannot establish any sort of relationship with someone that calls himself "it". "This boy wants to kneel humbly at your feet" for example. What boy?!? Is it so "unsubmissive" to use the word "I"? And as for the rest of it - how could he know if I even had feet? For all he knows about me I could be some sort of bad invalid without any feet.

And so on and so on......
Well, I suppose that I will get new kind of messages now telling me I was not True Domme, as I do know some selfrespectful submissives get if they are not willing to obey any wannabe Dom barking orders in his first e-mail. I heard they have been called "not submissive enough" for using their simple human right to choose their Dominant.
Fine.
I can stand that kind of stuff and just press delete.

But I cannot stand idiotic acting.

Want to write to me? Fine.
Write about your cat. Write about your Mother. Write about your frustrations or your "neighbour from hell".
Just dont crawl at my feet and call me stupid names in your first message. You may only get me sick.

Someone who combines courtesy with information, marvellous.
I am a Lady who was about to write a post, now I don't have to go over the points you already covered.

The end of your post was lovely, I agree with you, the OP was probably having a bad day, received a few of the posts she vents about and needed to have her say.
I know the ones that infuriate me are the ones from outside my country who within the first 5 sentences of their first email want to relocate to be with me. I have responded politely that the distance is a problem. Occasionally I get back a snarky reply that obviously I don't want to own a real slave (if they read my profile, they would have known that before writing), and they are moving to my area. (I hear a nahnahnah, even if they don't write it). Not being a mind reader, I have no way of knowing that if when they said they would relocate, they didn't mention that the relocation was already planned. In my world, mind reading costs extra *lol*

I trust with your attitude and obvious intelligence, that you will have a speedy and happy conclusion to your search.

Yes, you are a weirdo...

First- We call you Mistress because it is out of respect, and there again, because someone has once, or more than once, told us to address them that way.

Second - Oh, and what's up with the "slaves" in quotes? I am a slave/sub, whatever you want to call me... and we type in lowercase letters because we are "told" and "asked" by our Doms/Masters not to use caps at all when we are typing. some Doms/Masters feel that it's rude to them if we use caps at all, even when saying I.

When you are chatting with a sub or slave, try asking them to talk to you normally, like they would to a friend, and tell them, or give them permission, to use caps when appropriate (don't know if I spelled that right, sorry). If they sound ignorant, maybe, they honestly are, that's why they are slaves, who are probably mindless and would be a doormat if you told them to.

Third - I have no idea about the "it" thing. That must only be with male submissives, first time I have heard of it.

Lol, I liked what you wrote, because it's true. Most of the time when I have tried to chat with male submissives, cause they think that because I am a submissive too that they can chat with me, I have yet to meet one as intelligent as I am. When I chat with them, they sure don't sound like it.

Communication is a learned behavior to some degree. So is the act of showing respect. We are all cut from different molds interacting in the same world. To be more accepting and less judgmental of these simple differences will tend to make things less complicated in the eyes of the beholder.

Wouldn't this little rant be better placed in your profile on the off chance that some of the illiterate clods who are emailing you and sucking up your precious time might read it and think better of it? Don't think it's going to do much good here in the fora.

i will agree that bad grammar, spelling and punctuation does make understanding difficult at times, but most of the initial post here wasn't about that. if there's one thing i've learned about the lifestyle, it's that it's different for each person or couple. for some, the use of caps for Dom/mes is just a sign of respect. there's no reason do discourage them from using them. if you don't want to show that same respect, don't. but don't put down those who do. same with the concept of slaves. i personally find it offensive to treat anyone as property, but for some, that's what pleases them. why should i try to tell them they're wrong? much of the stuff in the complaints in the original post were merely the common rules of conduct in bdsm chat....... you might want to reference castlerealm.com to see what i mean. i had it explained to me this way... if you go to a catholic church, you'll see people bow and genuflect in the aisles, kneel on occasion, go up for mass, etc. you don't have to do any of that yourself, but please show respect for those who do.

i find this harsh ocean, harsh and unfair, being a male submissive doesn't make one unintelligent or lesser then you...i've spoken with some very intelligent male sub'slaves who could use grammer and make wise thought out remarks

Kasia, your complaints are familar to anyone who has been a regular reader of these message boards. I understand your frustration and need to vent. Perhaps it would help if you posted a little more often? You might find that it more comfortable to release a little of the steam gently, instead of bottling it up and letting it burst all out in one message.

Do you honestly believe that most slaves are ignorant, mindless doormats? You, yourself deemed yourself to be one, or at least in part as it seems from what you said that maybe you are unsure of exactly what your orientation is. hmmm. being new to this board, perhaps I'm misreading your post .

My little frustrations, here and there don't warrent an original post from me. However I would passionatley post over things I found extremely irritating, but will continue to reply to any post I find informative, and or exceptionally well written . [;)]
