Looks to me that, when confronting a coward like Bush, terrorism is very effective.

Thats actually kind of wrong.  Al-queada which Osama has been a major spokesman for  actually wants to see the destruction of the United States, and a Pan Islam.  After our invasion of Afganistan, there ability to mount a effective campaign of terror hall but been crushed.  Although organizations like JI may claim to attack for Al-Queada, they are really only a sister ogranization looking for regional control.

According to one US report on the news the other week, al queada are in better shape than ever. Proof that right wing simplistic idiotic thinking doesn't work.

As if al queada has the power to destroy the US, all it can do is inflict a gnat's bite.

Where in the hell did you read that?  I get my info from Stratfor and other NON-party oriented sourses and they all say the ame thing.  Al-queda has been pretty had its back broken.

Maybe you are useing leftwing simplistic idiotic resourses.

First off before you shoot your mouth off about party lines, you better up the research, the only organizations that have gotten stronger are sister organizations that are local in campaign and and organization.  Your going to have to vouch your evidence because the US Gov to my knowledge, and most indepandant organizations(haven't read them all) say the same thing.

If you can prove me wrong and it doesn't come from a liberal only website, or some other BS (no the liberals aren't more right then the republicans and vice versa) then by all means teach me.  I truely would be interested.

Well, I read a lot of things, including leftwing simplistic idiotic resources, but I have to agree with the point made about Al Qaeda having it's back broken.

When the United States went into Afghanistan they ended up taking out a Al Qaeda training camp and scored a seriously big prize; computers with listings of names and contact information for Al Qaeda operatives worldwide.  Using Interpol and police oriented resources, these people were then rounded up, arrested, neutralized, whatever.

Then, the Bush administration (in one of it's only demonstrably competent moves) had the bank accounts associated with these people and other Al Qaeda organizations frozen worldwide.

So yes, Al Qaeda is a pale shadow of what it once was, unable to actually come together to perform any meaniningful activities.

What broke their back was good ole fashioned police work.  Not military action.

The reality of the situation does not stop the current administration from telling ghost stories about them over campfire to frighten the campers.  Additionally, it does not stop certain sections of our population from salivating in fear every time they hear the same old tired stories.

Sinergy

2006-09-07: False Flag Operations: Declassified Military Documents Show How US Government Planned Terrorist Attacks Against its Own Citizens

Confirmed in an ABC News article and the National Security Archive of the George Washington University, shocking formerly top secret 1962 military documents, now declassified, provide irrefutable evidence that the Joint Chiefs of Staff & Chairman, the top US military leaders, planned and authorized terrorist attacks to kill American citizens. It involved using airplanes, blowing up a US ship and even orchestrating violent terrorism in American cities using fabricated evidence to falsely incriminate the Cuban government in order to justify an unpopular war to remove Castro from power.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 7th, 2006 – As reported by ABC News, stunning military documents codenamed "Operation Northwoods" were declassified in recent years and show how in 1962, the top US military leaders planned an operation to create terror attacks against its own cities and kill US citizens. there's no myth to this truth - the 5 biggest supporters (ie money, weapons) of terrorist activities are the same 5 nations that sit on the UN Security Council -  China, France, Russia, United Kingdom and United States.

yes it was  ...and so rightly true - the US (actually CIA) has privately funded terrorists, wars and regimes to turn foreign policy to its advantage. no matter how much dubya calls Saddam or Bin Laden "evil", the US has funded the money to support their activities.

You know I don't know if you believe yourself or not.  In all honesty I don't think you have a leg to stand on.  It seems you are resighting the same crap that is put out over and over.  Not that terrorism hasn't been sponsered either overtly or inadverntaly ball all said nations.  However the only claim I have heard is the Afganistan BS about the US, and thats the biggest load of shit ever.

Look if your so right you will have information.  If you dump out the US funding the Afgan war, then I suggest you read Charlie Wilson's War.

There is a vast wealth of information about the US support for Iraq during the Iran Iraq war and Iraq was a terrorist state was it not.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._support_for_Iraq_during_the_Iran-Iraq_war

Also the afghan war was a cold war front with the soviets and the US played no part in that at all?

Actually no, its a Nation, and yes it might not be a nation we should have supported or a regime, but it defiantly wasn't a terrorist organization.  No one in the political science department would ever agree with that train of thought, even if they were so far left they couldn't see the right over the horizen.  If you notice not once is terror or terrorism brought up in your link.

Please try again.
