This forum includes "Sharing Your Experience," and I just wrote this poem about my experience. Potential critics: please go easy on me. I'm no aspiring professional poet, just a lifelong submissive masochist with emotions clamouring for expression.

Guilty Pleasures

Wicked thoughts crept in like nimble spiders
Through the cracks between my conscience and my sex
Spinning webs of forbidden pleasure
Too extended to avoid, too sticky to escape

I wanted the unspeakable
So I claimed it quietly
In dark, secret places
The cage in my mind flung open
Letting deranged, savage desires cavort in stolen freedom
Cartwheeling from brain to cunt
Setting off devastating orgasms on their way

Shhh...mustn't let my parents hear...mustn't let my roommates hear...
Mustn't let my husband hear...

Quiet as a mouse, for years, and years, and years.

Quick! Hide the candle, the broom handle
Clear the history and cache
Shove these evil thoughts back into their dark prison
Intercept the credit card bill, when it comes...

Falling to my knees, head bowed
Not to worship a loving Master
But to beg forgiveness from a God so demanding he could never be pleased

Lies flung from my heart into outer space
Echoing back at me, hollow and accusatory
Repentance impossible
Because it was bound to happen again
And again
And again

Shhh, little girl
Don't cry
Set your passions free
This is who you are
Carnal and intemperate
Neither sinner nor saint

Scream, slut, at the top of your lungs
You insatiable conduit for extremes of pleasure and pain
Let it all slam through you
And out into the blinding light of day
This is who you are
This is what you were born to be

Nothing to hide
Rest in your Master's arms
Sleep safely in your golden chains
Sinless and satisfied
Forever at peace

Paint, write, throw darts at a board, bungee jump, whatever it takes to help you get your emotions out, do it. Far better than bottling them up. Writing has saved my life, so if you find it works for you, then go for it. Looks like you're off to a good start - I like what you wrote. Good thing about the written word to, is that you can always go back to what you wrote long after the fact, and if you put it down correctly, you can put yourself right back into that headspace - but from a safe distance. If you do it cryptically too, then no matter who falls over it and reads it, they can never be sure what it is you were writing about........... but YOU know.
