How important is it to you as a sub/or slave to loook your very best AT ALL times for your MASTER? I ask this because last night we went to a party, and my gosh, It was so hard for me to imagine that someof the Doms were happy with the way their property looked. It was clearly not humiliation, these women jsut did not care what they looked like. I am sorry if I am being a brat here, but for me, I alsways want my Master to feel proud of me, to look my best for him, because I represent him. People look at me and I am a direct refelction of him. Am I wrong? P.S. I KNOW there are Dom's who like their women to look like crap. BUt I can not fathom it being on a daily basis. I have seen these girls in the vanilla world, and they looked like crap then too!

And what made you the universal qulalifier for what looks like crap? I personally think I look better with makeup, but Wolf hates make up, over the years I have learned to not be bothered, except for rare occasions. I KNOW I look much better with a bra on. I have 44E breasts, and am 40 years old, lol. Wolf prefers me to go braless when ever possible, and "lifestyle" functions are one of those places. It has nothing to do with humiliation, it has to do with preference. For some ongodly reason he likes to see "old boobs" & "morning faces".

I have to agree with Wolfspet. No one should be judging another persons look. It may be that their Master's prefer them to look that way. I know my Master doesn't like makeup either, but I think I look better with it. He just loves the way I look when I first wake up, which makes me think He may blind!! It doesn't matter to me what other people think, as long as my Master likes it. perfection PS: BTW, why should you care so much what the other women looked like anyway?

Oh gosh, I think you are misunderstand me. I am not judging at all. Has nothing to do with wearing make up or not. It has to do with how you carry yourself, how you present yourself. These women did not even really care if their hair was combed or if they had on dingy looking clothing with rips. I am talking about sloppiness. Not ACTUAL looks. I am talking about how you present yourself. Some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen are the more natural ones. Not all made up. But they presented themselfs as the utmost beautiful creature on the earth, because they cared enough about the small things. Does that make any sense?

AND want them bra less whenever possible! LOL! Nothing wrong with that!

A lot of slaves I know do not wear makeup and wear their hair long and straight...very much like the flower children of the 60's. The mindset is often that a lack of vanity is a virtue in a slave. I've at times felt the odd one out as my owner prefers me made up and my hair styled. f

Whether it's being stuck in the same hair/clothes style they had at 18, or just not knowing how to match things up right, dressing is not a skill normally taught in school. I had to teach myself. B) A lot of doms who THINK they know how to dress their subs really suck at it. But since subs like being told what to wear, they gladly accept their doms orders. Now, I'm a fashion slut, I adore costumes and putting outfits together. I literally do research on this sort of thing. I don't expect everyone to have the time, energy, funds or motivation like I do in this regard, and in fact would be a bit disappointed if everyone did because it would make my job a lot harder. You have two choices, you either strike up conversations with those people and start to talk about fashion, it's quite easy to "give advice" while being complimentary and making people more receptive to it....or you simply let them on their way and go about their business. As long as they are proud and secure in who they are...clothes won't matter.

I would think the Dom would want his sub/slave to look her very best. As you said, she represents him. Some women and men just don't know how to dress. It really is not their fault if they were not taught growing up. So they could not know any better. Just another point of view. I always make sure I am dressed up with my hair, makeup and appropriate dress for the occasion. Luckily, I have never had anyone who told me I couldn't wear make up. I usually wear it only to work and special occasions, not everyday. Respectfully, sultry

It would seem that in a general manner you should always do your best to always be in pleasant appearance. However, the reality of life kicks in. If you feel guilty, then ask Your Master for discipline. you would be saving Him the time to scold you Himself by doing so. Always put your Master first, and you being his property means your body comes first as well. take pride in your Masters property and be happy in your work.

A bit sensitive? I went back and re-read through this. I don't think she meant it in the way it came across. I don't know about the party she went to, but I've had experiences at fetish events where hygeine was a serious issue for some people. Is it judgemental for me to say these people were not looking their best for their partners? Perhaps. But there's a difference between getting dolled up and being a beauty queen vs. being a 'slob.' I took her definition to mean someone did not take normal steps to present themselves in a positive way. Would this person go to a job interview that way? To be honest I never paid much attention to the female subs, but I can definitely say there were male subs that didn't seem to care a bit about their appearance. By this I mean things that should be a minimum -- like make sure your hair is clean and not greasy, make sure your clothing is clean or appropriate (a stained t-shirt? eww), teeth are brushed and body smells fresh.
