I freely admit to "stealing" this topic from a thread a while back on another forum. The responses and the reasoning of the majority of the responders confounded me, so I thought I'd run it again here. For those who are a bit newer to this lifestyle and feel that this sort of thing never happens, I can direct you to a few people that it happened to. They actually looked quite lovely :) If your owner/master/dominant instructed that your head be shaved, how would you respond? best regards, fate Edited to add: This topic came to mind again because of the recent post regarding looking one's best for one's Master at all times, and a story I recently heard on vanity.

I'd want to make sure it was ok to wear a wig to work, otherwise it would rock. It's actually something I pondered seriously over a year ago and on and off since then. Not only the low maintenence, but the stripping of idtentity, the humiliation AND the exhibitionistic aspect of it all appeal to me. People put so much identity and power into their hair...would be a great experience. But so far I haven't had enough motivation for it. If the Owner really decided he wanted it done, that would be cool.

I have been bald during chemo. I look darn good too! So I have been there. I toyed around with the idea of shaving my head but I let my hair grow. If my Master said he wanted me bald, I suppose I wouldn't have a say in it. I can handle it as I did before. No hair to wash, no hair to curl or blow dry, no dying the roots! Respectfully, sultry

I've been threatening to shave mine for years because my hair never behaves itself. I probably wouldn't hesitate much if I were ordered to, although if it were winter I might whine a little. My ears stick out a lot, they'd freeze right off without my hair. [:D]

i actually had the opposite problem. my former Mistress wanted me to grow my hair out. while it seems no big deal. i actually had difficulty in the order. Much the same way bald would be for a woman. the possiblity of having long hair would be diffucult to explain to some people

I'm not submissive, but I keep my hair absurdly short for a few reasons: 1 - Very low maintenence. I'm not girly enough to enjoy having to fuss with even brushing my hair in the morning. 2 - It fucks with people and makes them wonder what I am, especially when I'm in really loose-fitting clothes. 3 - There's such a contrast between my natural hair color and my skin tone that it's almost needed or people just look at me and see hair instead of a face. Or, to use an artist friend's words, it "accentuates my facial features" But I'd never ask pet to do it because I like playing with hair too damn much.

Yes. In another example though, I want to cut mine really short(I have had it shaved in the past) but right now Demon wants me to have long hair. So, I obey - its such a hard task because its so hard to control and takes up so much time etc - but it's His desire, not mine - so I obey. I am also used to being dark - my hair has been black for ages now - but Demon desires red - so red it is going to be - SOON! Peace and Love Edit to add - I realised how this post sounded. But what is occuring(wich I am well aware) is that Demon is teaching me patience through this task - it's something He feels I need to learn, and doing so will allow me to grow much more as a person.

So if he instructed me that my head was going to be shaved I would be baffled, probably ask why (depending on his mood and how he informed me about the head shaving) but I would be obedient and get my head shaved.

Yes. It wouldn't present much of a problem. Just last year i had it buzzed to within 1/4" of the scalp because the punk haircut i'd tried wasn't me at all. :) On the other hand, the Mistress seems to like long hair, and growing it out is a test of endurance, especially in the summer.
