Makes sense to me Dark. I often marvel at how we are obsessed with hair in the scene, above and below the neck.

This is the third time I am growing my hair long. I had it very very long in high school and then cut it short for graduation. 5 months later I meet my first master who tells me he wants it grown out as long as possible!!!

So I grow it out and let it grow. The relationship ends but I keep the hair for awhile. Finally, November before last (I was single!) I cut 11 inches and donated it.

Then of course...the Owner wants me to grow my hair long. Argh.

He's not terribly obsessed with it, as long as I don't cut it short, he's happy with it, but some days I just want it gone. I LOVED when it was just at my shoulders.

Plus I think everyone should change their hairstyles at least once every five years. You don't wear the same style clothes and it's rare that a hair style will stay fashionable on you for that long either.

Hello There,
As I am My Masters Slave. Anything he wants he gets. I would have eyes a huge as saucers at his request, I'd probably cry in the process, but I would never deny a request for anything from My Master.

Edited to add: This topic came to mind again because of the recent post regarding looking one's best for one's Master at all times, and a story I recently heard on vanity.



Interestingly enough, we just had this discussion. I forget how it arose but She had joked about my head being shaved (not going to happen, She enjoys my hair too much) and I had said I'd do it. She demurred, thinking perhaps I would have second thoughts.

It struck me the next day that I would - because I knew that every time I "noticed" I'd get that extra squiggly feeling which stems from the "I am Hers."

I shared that thought with Her later. :)

We both smiled.

I would!! Having to live with trichotillomania, sometimes I WANT to - it would be so much easier! But Mistress is very adamant, hair stays in place... which is probably a good thing anyway, it was devastating enough having it cut short in January :(

I was going to answer to that. If you have more than 6 inches of hair, donate it to "Locks of Love". It's for children for some reason, chemo or such would like hair but want to have a wig. These are handmade and individual for each child. I have had friends and their kids do this. So, this would not be in vain but a wonderful help for a child.

I'd say, how is this going to affect my professional life? In our negotiations so many year's ago career is left out and away. Knowing I'm not just going to shuck my whole life for some stranger to do with as they wish.

Anyway, I have a full time job. I also have a career...I have clients who come into my office. How would they react? Would there be any negative connotations?

If all of these answers came out as a no. I would shave my head. I am his sub...and that means I do what he wishes as long as no harm is brought to me.
Harm comes in more way than physical pain but mental pain as well.

So far, two of our unmentionables have donated hair through Locks of Love. The middle one donated 12 inches, and the youngest donated 16 inches. It was the youngest's first haircut ever and she was SO excited to be able to give it to a child who needed it and she still had about 12 inches left. It is a wonderful program! Also, some salons participate and will take care of the donation for you if you ask them.

Yes, in a heart beat. i would most likely cry and hopefully he would hold my hand while it was being done. There isn't anything that i wouldn't do that he ask me to. i trust him and know he wouldn't ask me to do anything that would harm me or that i couldn't do.

How would i respond? I don't think Master would ever ask me to shave my hed but if He did I belive there would be a long discussion about it first. There is no question that I would do it if He insisted but sometimes that "why" question just needs to be asked...this owuld be one of those times (lol)

When we first met, i had hair to my hips that was my pride and joy. Master asked me to cut it as a gift to Him for our first Christmas together. His reasons were very logical - i really didn't know much about styling my hair, and if it wasn't down, it was braided or ponytailed all the time... He felt if it was shorter, i could style it more, and it would look more flattering and feminine. He was right - it did both of those things - but i lost part of what made me feel sexy. This is something i would have a seriously hard time doing if Master were to ask me. i know it's not something he would ask because right now i'm growing it out for him. LOL It would be much longer if the screw up at the salon last summer had not butchered my cutting instructions of "just trim it to the top of my shoulders" which somehow translated to "cut it to my chin". i don't know who was more upset w/ the woman, me or him! LOL

A lot of it would come down to how my boss and higher ups at work would react to it. IMO it would fall under the companies policy of no radical haircuts or colors. Obviously if being bald was a side affect of a medical condition an exception would be made to this policy. Otherwise, i don't see this as something that would fly. They have strict standards regarding our appearance down to no facial piercings, no visisible tattoo's and so on...i think there is even an example of unacceptable haircuts in the handbook such as dreadlocks.

My first reaction would be disbelief. My hair is important to me (I keep it shoulder length) and losing my hair would be a real sacrifice. The second reaction I would have is a hope that she was just teasing (or testing) me.

My third reaction would be "Okay - how strong is our relationship? Which do I value more ...my hair or her ?"

I would then gulp, and act accordingly.
