You should have food, water, medical /suvirval stuff in your home, and stay there if you can, every part of the world can get hit with a massive disaster with virtually no warning. It should always be in the back of our minds. If they saw it 10 years in advance and there are fortunes to be made fixing the problem, you bet they would tell right away.

I was watching a program on the History Channel about space and an Astronomer who tracks asteroids said; "it's the ones that we *don't* know about that worry me."
