Still trying to follow the first episode.
Can anyone here tell me why ANYONE would go on Survivor
wearing a dress, skirt or heels, or anything remotely related?
I can't seem to get past this one.
Everyone knows they usually take everything from you, but the clothes on your
back.

Not so...They are allowed to have approved items (change of clothing, tennis shoes, etc), which is why they are supposed to pack before tribal council.  In this case, they have nothing to pack.
When they arrived at the temple, the cast was under the impression that this was a photo shoot and an intro to the local culture.  They were not told that this was IT!  A deliberate move to catch them less prepared.
The production did this previously in the first "pirates" episode (Panama?)...anyway the one with that big ol' bear, Rupert.  He was wearing a skirt one of the ladies made for him since he could not wear the denim.  He was having some serious rash problems!  *Smile*
The cast was wearing what they thought was appropriate for the photo shoot and the day out.  Their running shoes were given to them at the first challenge, but they are stuck with what they were wearing when they were unexpectedly sent off with a map.
Shaping up to be an interesting season, IMO.  But I do think the challenges are leaning toward more violence.  Things are getting much more physical the last few seasons.

Well it seems from the promos that there will be a four person kidnap/exchange coming this week. Does Courtney only count as 1/2 a person by now?
LOL....I am wondering if she were not a wee bit anorexic before the show began..Actually, I highly doubt that girl has much more body fat to feed off of..Tempting

Her attitude certainly has mellowed as the show goes on. Her shoulders are too small to carry that chip anymore.

Pei Ge and Jaime's plan would seem to be a good gamble, but at least they could be more subtle about it. It is a shame that hard playing contestants like Aaron and James will be gone because of it.
There is a good chance that their old teammates may not want to side up with them again in a merger anyway. I guess we will see.
The exchange also messed up something else. Did anyone else sense budding romance in the air between James and Denise? Now we will never know.

I think Denise is a lesbian. Not sure that James knows that though.

Humm,,this certainly is quite a twist..and grave digger was soo surprised when he had to stay..I wonder how his absolute disgust with the tactics being played out will affect how he interacts with the group or even the game? And I can just imagine the other teams shock to see one of the strong ones gone!...This would of been an absolute great plan, if Peigh ghe and other had kept quiet and not been grinning like idiots throughout..and made all aware of their plan..may come to bite them in the end for their devious intelligient natures and put a target on their backs..I would not trust them if I discovered their manipulations...Tempting

Once Eric found out about the girl's plan, he should have told the other guys, and voted one of the girls out. But he doesn't want to spoil his alliance with Jaime?  He must be a drummer.

I like Pei Ge and Jamie, but they should have not flaunted the fact they
threw the challenge.
They might have made themselves big targets when the teams merge.

Corkney can't weight over 90 pounds.
She barely has enough strength to even walk, the reason she has
not been voted off, is she is not a big enough threat.

I LOVE James! Looks like he may be soon to go though. He has been my favorite since the start.

Looks like the merge is next week. Time for James to kick some butt in the immunity challenges. I am pulling for him, but I don't think he is smart enough to deal with all the manipulations that will be going on. He is a bit too trusting.
Maybe Courtney secretly likes Jon Robert and doesn't want to admit it? Lol.

Yeah that was pathetic ... what was the other team thinking by letting its three weakest players sit out a REWARD challenge? Had they shown any brains at all, the plan to throw would have worked perfectly. Still ... they got rid of Sherrea ... so it's not a total loss.

It was funny watching James try to throw the eating contest to no avail. How about those 100 year old eggs? Lol.

They would've gotten rid of Me right there if I had gotten that far in the first place - no chicky birds or turtles for Me!

I wonder how if it makes it easier to eat that kind of stuff when you aren't getting much to eat? Those little turtles might look pretty good when all you eat is rice.

I wonder if the Chinese people who eat that food get grossed out at seeing someone eat pizza?
