Not a wild fan of Todd, however definitely not wild about Courtney especiallywhen Peih-gee went during the talk before the vote she kept rolling her eyes..I HATE THAT!!!..:0)...and frankly she has been riding coat tails...she needs to go....Tempting

Ach phooey!!!..I did not want Todd to win!!..:0(....nor Courtney either, she was a bit of a snot..would of preferred Denise..but would of been ok with Amanda..I am stunned that she got nada...I thought she was a shoe in actually...but admitedly Todd played a good game..well another one in February...I have enjoyed this thread....lets do it again next one out!!!.hugs/Tempting ...I forgot to add however I was thrilled that James got the popular 100,000 vote and that the producers gave Denise 50,000 since she lost her 7.00/hr job..I felt real good about that

I would have preferred Denise, Courtney or Amanda.
Denise should NOT have voted PeeGee out, bad move staying with the group.

But, when I heard how Todd had been studying the game since he was 14,
I started to admire his game playing ability.

I really enjoyed Survivor China.

Wow, quite a shocking ending. I never would have guessed that Todd would pull it off. He even worked the jury at the last vote. Good player.
I never figured Courtney would have recieved more votes than Amanda either. Amanda's stock dropped quickly with the jury. She somehow came across as less honest than Todd which was surprising.
I am glad that Denise got some extra money. What the hell was her school thinking? She did kind of beg too much at the end of the game though. I didn't like that.
All in all it was one of the best seasons. And the twist for next Survivor seems very interesting. I can't wait to see who the returning contestants will be.
Next up; Big Brother.

I've heard rumors they may move BB up, if the writer's strike drags on much longer.

On another note:

NEW YORK - A school lunch lady who gained fame as a contestant on CBS’ reality show “Survivor: China” wasn’t telling the truth when she claimed during Sunday’s season finale that she’d been demoted to janitor, her boss says.

Denise Martin of Douglas, Mass., finished fourth in the competition, missing out on the $1 million grand prize.

“They didn’t give me my job back,” Martin, 40, said during the live broadcast. “I’m a janitor now. I clean the toilets. I wash the floors in the bathrooms. I vacuum the kids’ rugs.”

Todd deserved to win; he outwitted, outlasted and outplayed everyone!! Amanda came off as a lying wimp, Courtney was upfront about being a bitch and Todd handled the jury perfectly. Denise, sad. I am glad James got the 10 grand.

Love Survivor!!!

I felt sorry for Denise!  She got reward twice, took certain people with her twice and got betrayed by those people twice THEN ended up loosing her job because she was "too distracting" - no wonder they gave her $50,000, she deserved it!
I didn't want Todd to win, I wanted Amanda and I don't think I'll watch the next one.  I don't want to see any of those people again, I want fresh ones.

WOW...I cannot believe she did that!..pretty tacky...and a disappointment, I thought she was a better person than that..I wonder if she will feel guilty enough to give back that 50,000???...doubtful...I would certainly love to see BB come on soon again...thanks Level...Tempting

On the CBS website it says Big Brother 9 is starting on February 12th. That's what I thought I had seen advertised on Survivor.
I don't know what happened with Denise. She sure misrepresented her situation if the story is true. I don't think she should take the 50,000 dollars.

When I said above that I detest Denise, I meant I detest Courtney, sorry.

OMFG she looked hot on the reunion show though ... not that I still want to spend time with her. My wife (who has been a social worker) said, "Look at the muscles on her neck -- she's bulemic."

I'm glad Todd won and that James got some extra cash.

Actually I can probably verify that once its a more reasonable hour. My sister works in NYC at the main CBS offices and would most likely know since she rolls the audience numbers out everyday. I also gets head up as to when something is being scheduled, burned or otherwise.

I checked with my reliable source, ie sister regarding the BB in Feb.

It a planned additional BB and has nothing to do with the writers strike.

There will also be another BB at its regular date in the summer. So pretty much there will be 2 BB's this year.

Apparently this last BB got very high ratings and when this happens often with the reality shows, the big boss will say throw another one in. I have seen this happen with the Amazing Race once.

So get ready for 2 this coming year.

This comes straight from one that works in the scheduling office at CBS headquarters so it not a reported rumor.
